Plant Manager The Plant Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and smooth operation of equipment, hardware and facilities across the company. The Facilities Manager will work closely with the production team to ensure that all aspects of the facilities, such as space planning, sanitation, and deliveries are being handled according to company protocol on a daily basis. The Facilities Manager will report directly to the Director of Operations. Ideally, candidate should have plant operations experience. There is opportunity to grow with the company. Requirements: • Food handler’s license and HACCP certification or equivalent. • Industrial maintenance experience including mechanical and electrical knowledge. • Self-starter able to work independently with limited supervision. • A sense of urgency, ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced environment. • Be able to be on your feet for at least 8h/shift and lift loads of 50 lbs. • Ability to operate a manual pallet jack. • Extreme attention to detail and cleanliness. Responsibilities: •Implement HACCP. Keep records. Report violations or discrepancies. • Implement visual controls throughout the facility. • Maintain equipment. Troubleshoot as needed and schedule repairs. • Inspect facilities and equipment daily to ensure safe and proper operation. • Maintain inventory of parts, pieces and equipment. • Streamline operations including both yogurt production and filling/sealing/ packing. • Implement upgraded sanitation of facility including: • equipment and hardware sanitation • air quality and sanitation • walls, floor, drains and plumbing fixtures • dry storage, cold storage, office, changing area • Manage waste disposal. • Receiving- both incoming and outgoing deliveries. • Maintain security equipment. • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. • Communicate professionally with other employees, vendors and visitors.
