Pivot doors are fast becoming a popular modern alternative to the traditional hinged door. Pivot bearings replace conventional hinges to open up new and exciting design possibilities. With self-closing and hold open functions, these top quality pivots can handle the weight of an impressive over-sized door with ease.
Duce pivot doors are Australian made to Australian standards. We use a variety of ‘A’ grade hand-selected timbers that are kiln dried and shaped into innovative, contemporary designs. Each door is custom made to suit any aperture by award-winning artisans.
Duce products are proudly supported by the ‘Duce Timber Windows & Doors Seven-Year Guarantee’ to provide peace of mind for you, and your builder
Please note that due to the unique nature of pivot door hardware any pivot door should be installed in a position where other architectural features can be relied upon to protect against weather penetration.
Energy Effi ciency and SustainabilityTimber is a renewable resource and by choosing timbers that are sourced from managed sustainable forests we can help protect our natural environment.
Duce plays an active role in driving our suppliers to source certifi ed sustainable timbers so that we can offer these to our customers.
The manufacturing process for producing our timber windows and doors is gentle on the environment. It does not require the mining of our precious limited resource minerals or the huge energy that is needed to produce some of the other manmade materials on the market today.
Timber is a natural insulator and installing windows and doors made from timber is a simple way to improve the energy effi ciency of your home. Thermal performance can then be further be enhanced by upgrading the type of glass to suit the design of your home.

Select Your GlassSelecting the correct glass for your doors and windows is important. You can improve the security, privacy, comfort and the overall energy effi ciency of your home.
For most homes reducing heat gain in summer and retaining heat in winter is essential and you can achieve this without compromising daylight, comfort and energy effi ciency by selecting the correct glass.
Our Design Consultants can help you to choose the best type of glass for your particular application. If an Energy Assessor has nominated the performance requirements for the glass in your house then we will show you a selection of glass types that will meet
the SHGC (Solar Heat Gain Coeffi cient) and U Value requirements specifi ed.
Safety is a major consideration when choosing your glass so our Design Consultants will ensure that the glass used for your windows will comply with Australian Standard 1288/2006 as required by the BCA (Building Code of Australia).
Select Your DesignChoose from our popular designs, or if you can’t see what you want, why not design your own? Our team of Design Consultants will show you how to make your idea become a reality.
