MONDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 2009 3 – 6pm – Key West Maritime Holiday Party aboard the MOHAWK WWII Museum Ship at Truman Annex Waterfront Pier. Join Admiral Finbar and the Conch Republic Military Brass and the Pirates in Paradise swashbuckling crew for this maritime celebration. Entertainment features Howard Livingston, Kat Epple, Rich McKay and Mary Spears. Cost: $15/$10 for members of the KWMHS, volunteers of the MOHAWK and Key West Propeller Club of the US and other maritime related organizations. Not a member or volunteer, sign up on site to join the KWMHS and enjoy the celebration! TUESDAY, DECEMBER 1, 2009 10am-Noon – Historic Walking Tour of Old Town Key West. Join award-winning author and lecturer Robert N. Macomber as he takes you back in time to the Civil War era in Key West. Tour departs Ambrosia Key West, 622 Fleming Street (meet in the courtyard at 9:30am to register.) Tour departs promptly at 10am and concludes at Voltaire Books, 330 Simonton Street, where there will be a book signing with Bob at Noon. COST: $25 per person.
