5. PIONEER VILLAGE STATION Pioneer Village Station is located at Steeles Avenue and North West Gate (York University). The station will include a YRT/Viva bus terminal on the north side of Steeles Avenue and a TTC bus terminal on the south side. The concept plan for the YRT/Viva bus terminal is shown in Figure 5-1.

B. Route 20 – JaneRoute 20 – Jane operates primarily along Jane Street from York University to Teston Road. The Route 20 branch operates through the industrial area west of Jane Street between Courtland Avenue and Interchange Way during the weekdays. Existing routing is shown in Figure 5-4.

Route 20 – Jane will service all (three) new subway station bus terminals in York Region. The proposed routing for Route 20 is shown in Figure 5-5. Travel time will be adjusted to accommodate the increased route length.

C. Route 22A – King CityExisting Route 22A – King City is shown in Figure 5-6 which operates between Newmarket GO Bus Terminal and York University via Yonge Street, King Road and Keele Street.

TTC Route 107 service will be assumed by YRT / Viva and will be consolidated with Route 22. As a result, Route 22A branch operating between Newmarket and York University will be renamed Route 22 - Keele-King City. Service between Seneca King Campus and Maple GO Station will be renamed Route 22A. Two new branches, Route 22B operating to Rutherford GO Station, and Route 22C operating to Teston Road will be implemented. Service on Route 22/22B/22C will be extended to Pioneer Village Station. The proposed routing for Route 22 is shown in Figure 5-7.

D. Route 100 – York UniversityRoute 100 will operate weekdays between Richmond Hill Centre Terminal and York University. The route will operate via Highway 7, Bathurst Street, Centre Street and Keele Street, similar to the current Viva purple service. The proposed routing is shown in Figure 5-8. The route will operate weekdays during the morning rush hour, midday and afternoon rush hour. Route 100 will require five rush hour buses. The cost and fleet associated with this route are associated with the Viva Network Expansion Plan.
