• Replat 10 Friendship Lane to slice off a narrow tract of land
• Purchase this narrow tract of land from current owner
• Donate/Dedicate it to the City Parks
• Tract of land becomes a permanent expansion to Pioneer Park
• Neighborhood will “Adopt the Park”
• Enhance connectivity and build community!
Goal: Permanent access to and from Pioneer Park via 10
Friendship Lane
Land owners supportive, & willing to sell a thin slice of their lot
233 Signatures of Support from neighbors
Over $4K in neighbor donations already in hand and $45k promised
Letter of Endorsement from..
TOSC, Bike Colorado Springs, Kids on Bikes, Medicine Wheel Trail Advocates, Southern Colorado Velo
Received objections from adjacent land owners
