My first picture I wanted to include was a medium shot taken on an angle emphasising the old and dirty clothes the homeless teenager was wearing. Medium shots give a sense of danger as when seeing something from a distance it makes you want to look into it with much more depth. I wanted this picture to be effective and show the devastating effects homelessness has and how this boy doesn’t have a place to call home. The background of this image however wasn’t as significant as the actual actor. This image is powerful and empowers the reader to want to help.

For all of my images, I wanted to include the people who are affected by the charity and the people who have been involved to help make a difference. As my website is aimed at homeless teenagers I felt it was crucial to include a lot of images to pin point the issue. Yet again, I used another medium shot as I feel they are the most useful and help capture my image more effectively. We can see from this picture, the teenage boy is wearing an open ripped shirt which states how he has no money to afford new clothes and his environment shows that’s where he is also staying. The homeless teenager is wearing quite fashionable clothes which indicates he was once rich which makes the topic even more sad as he now isn’t wealthy nor comfortable.

The next image portrayed was a close up of Theos face and shows his tatty, un-brushed and long hair which looks like it hasn’t been washed in a while. The females of the target audience will instantly feel sympathy for him as they understand how un hygienic it is. In addition, this fits in with synthetic sisterhood theory about females wanting to become motherly. I wanted to use a different camera shot so my images didn’t become repetitive and as I wanted to include this in a grid, felt it would be appropriate.
