Skill acquisition.

Sport and society.

Biomechanical movement.

Sport psychology.

Sport and society and the role of

technology in physical activity and

sport.

Practical Performance in physical

activity and sport

Students are assessed as a performer or

coach in the full sided version of one

activity and be able to provide written/

verbal analysis of performance.

This course is designed to be taken over one or two years. It is a linear qualification. In order to achieve the award, students must complete all assessments at the end of the course and in the same series. May 2017 first examination.

Two Years Theoretical Content of the Course:

Applied anatomy and physiology

Skill acquisition

Sport and society

Biomechanical movement

Sport psychology

Sport and society and the role of

technology in physical activity and

sport.

Practical Performance in physical

activity and sport

Students are assessed as a performer or

coach in the full sided version of one

activity and be able to provide written/

This course is designed to be taken over two years. It is a linear qualification. In order to achieve the award, students must complete all assessments at the end of the course and in the same series. A Level exams and certification for this course are available for the first time in May/June 2018 and then every May/June for the life of the course specification.
