The journal showcases a wide variety of sub-jects and locations which appealed to my in-terests in both architecture and photography. In correlation with Michelle Litvin’s graduate class at UIC, the photographs are the works I have selected to advance my own techniques and understandings of photography. Repre-sented as a completed book, the progression of the journal correlates with the sequences of images that have been shot over the past 4 months. The work strives to test various tech-niques in color, lighting, composition, vantage points, and effects. A photograph is worth a thousand words, and I hope you enjoy the fol-lowing novel.
