The logo for the study went through a variety of revisions to its current image of a sun with three silhouettes.

The warm colors reflect the idea of SOL, emulating the bright and vibrant hues associated with the sun. The human figures are connected and displayed as though in motion, to demonstrate movement and progress.

The second Steering Committee meeting included a working dinner with invited Hispanic/Latino organizational leaders. A special presentation of photography (graciously provided by the artist) gave a poignant visual backdrop to the dinner.
