Image shot using outdoor slide film indoors with tungsten lights; image has yellowish tint
Image shot from too far away and out of focus
Focused with equal borders surrounding image
Cropped image;white balance set to incandescent
When shooting digitally, it is imperative that you have the correct white balance
White balance setting on automatic, image has yellowish tint
White balance set for florescent light, image has reddish tint
White balance set for shooting in sunlight, image has greenish tint

The same set-up can be used if shooting digitally

As slide film becomes increasingly scarce, many teachers have begun photographing with digital cameras and then sending the images via the internet to companies that will convert them to slide format.
