On Feb. 19, the Louisiana Army NationalGuard’s 256th Infantry Brigade CombatTeam (IBCT) hosted a media day and“Bosslift” event at Camp Shelby JointForces Training Center.

Through the Louisiana Employer Supportfor the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), the

“Bosslift” is to familiarize employers andcommunity leaders with the vital role theNational Guard and Reserve play in pre-serving national security when called upon.

More than 60 employers and communityleaders were transported by military aircraftto CSJFTC where they observed mobiliza-tion training and mingled with NationalGuard Soldiers (their employees) of the256th IBCT.
