Dear Fronteras Families! Thank you again to everyone at drop off and pick up for driving cautiously and keeping eyes peeled for pedestrians! Another wicked day today from Mother Nature! I’ve seen quite a few volunteers in our school, helping in classrooms, moving furniture, building needed items, and organizing different areas around campus. Please don’t forget to log those hours! ! Next week is a short week, as we will not have school Thursday and Friday. Thank you to everyone who has volunteered in classrooms for the varying Thanksgiving activities going on! We are looking forward to seeing lots of folks at the Holiday Bazaar tomorrow from 10:00 – 4:00! Bring friends and family and do a little shopping, while sipping hot coffee and sampling the different foods! Hello Fronteras Families,

We are very excited about our upcoming Christmas Concert, December 9th, at Wasilla Bible Church, 1651 W. Nicola Ave., Wasilla. The church sits behind Burchell School across from Spenard Builders Supply. Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Stamoolis for helping us secure this location! Both the facility and parking lots are huge and will accommodate all guests easily!Students are asked to wear a white shirt/blouse, black pants/skirt, and black shoes. Accents of red, green, silver, and/or gold are encouraged!The students and I have talked about Music being a team sport. It takes everyone working together. As with most team sports, uniforms are important – it promotes team spirit. We have the same expectation, so please support our dress request, and have our performers in black and white!Larry Bottjen, owner of DVD Technology, will video the entire concert and have DVDs available for purchase before Christmas break. More information on pre-ordering a DVD will go home with students.

Concert Schedule:

Kindergarten & 1st Grade – 5:30pm

2nd & 3rd Grades – 6:05pm

4th – 8th Grades – 6:40pm*Please have your student(s) at Wasilla Bible Church 20 minutes before their performance. There will be signage to help you locate the line-up room.

The Kindergarden class will be celebrating a Friendship Feast on Wednesday, November 27th, from 11-12.

There will be a musical performance and then sharing of the Friendship Feast during that time.

Asistiendo un partido de voleibol en UAACoach Cook, Sra. Cook, parents and volleyball players traveled to Anchorage last Saturday night to watch the Seawolves play.

It was a great experience for all.

On Wednesday, November 19th, our 6th and 7th grade girls played in their first-ever basketball games. They showed an incredible amount of heart and hustle in all of their three games, and made a great amount of

improvement from the first game through the third. Even the referee commented on their growth throughout the evening. Coach Cook and Sra. Cook are extremely proud of our girls: Meghan Bang, Brooke Brunhoelzl,

Cheyenne Dilley, Rachel Farley, Noralee Phetphommasouk, Coree Sanders, Sofía Cordero, and Krystal Ochap.
