Cutting layout

1. Pocket :

Overcast each pocket edges. Fold the seam allowances all around the pocket : 1 cm at the bottom and at the sides, 3/4" at the top of the pocket. Press.

Draw 5 lines on the large pocket : 1 in the center and the 4 other every 3/4".

Place the middle line of the large pocket on the marking line of the front piece. The pocket’s bottom is parallel to the bottom of the blouse and the pocket’s sides are parallel to the front opening edge. Carefully stitch the 5 lines in parallel to each other. This is the pencil’s pocket.

Place the little pocket above the large pocket matching the bottoms. Fold edges inside then topstitch the 2 pockets edges and bottoms together.
