ASC Extension Option Now Available– A Note from Mr Sadler

Following feedback, I am pleased to announce that you are now able to book a 4.15-5.30pm slot for After School Club. This is called

'After Clubs, Top Up ASC'. This is only for parents that have booked their child on to a sports club which finishes at 4.15pm, but need

After School Club until 5.30pm. The cost of this is £8. Please visit Magic Booking to secure your space.

Please note you are unable to book a Sports Club if you are currently booked for After School Club on that day. You will need to can-

cel your After School Club space on that particular day, then book the sports club, and then add the 4.15-5.30pm top up ASC. At the

time of going to press there were still spaces available on most clubs, and a walk through for Magic Booking is on our website if need-

ed. Any questions please let me know.

COMMUNITY NEWS To coincide with National Thank a Teacher Day, 23 June 2021, Oxfordshire Coun-ty Council is asking for messages of appreciation for teaching and support staff. Last year’s touching comments showered praise and thanks on teachers and sup-port staff during the challenging months of the Pandemic – and we want to hear more this year! During the past year staff have work tirelessly to provide lessons and resources, in many cases remotely, and this is a way to publicly to show huge appreciation for them.

We would be glad to receive short contributions (Twitter-length) from children, parents or guardians who wish to say thank you in any way they see fit – comments, poems, or other... Please send to [email protected] by Friday 18 June.

On Thank a Teacher Day a selection of the tributes will be shared on the Council website and on social media, using the hashtag #ThankATeacher Attached are some flyers you may like to use to encourage contributions. We thank you in anticipation of hearing of the impact of the dedication, inspiration, support and brilliance of your staff. (It would be most helpful if you would include a contact number should the local radio wish to go live with any of the com-ments. Chris Dyson, OCC’s Media contact for this project, will contact you on the day itself, if so). Kind regards School Improvement Team
