variables. State the hypothesis and the level of significance that will be used

to accept or reject it.

Location and subjects: Describe geographic location in quantitative study.Describe the subject pool of the study. Quantitative study generally requires

large pool as compared to qualitative study. In qualitative study ten to twelve

participants may prove sufficient.

Instrumentation: The instrument used to collect data should be described andjustified. In scientific study illustration of set up of instrument is also

described. If the instrument is standardized by researcher then pilot study to

validate the effectiveness of it is included. Describe the pilot study as it relates

to the research design, development of the instrument, data collectionprocedures, or characteristics of the sample.

Procedure: Describe fully when and how the data was collected. Method ofdata collection and its suitability is also described. It should also explain

ethical obligations fulfilled during data collection. For data analysis, the

succinct method of how the data was collected and analyzed is described.
