    PostGraduate program in Structural Engineering is to impart advanced fundamental concepts related to

    mechanics anddynamicsof the structures.These coupledwith courses related to recentdevelopments in

    materials,technologiesandmodelingtechniqueswillimpartcuttingedgedesignmethodologiesinReinforced

    Concrete,SteelandCompositeStructuresetc.Thecoursealsofocusesonlaboratorywork,industrialexposure

    TwoyearM.TechinChemicalEngineering(JUET)TheProgramprovidesadvancecoursesintheareassuchasProcessModelingandOptimization,Advanced

    Separation Processes, Advanced Process Control, Advanced Transport Phenomenon and Fluidization

    Engineering. The course offers awide range of electives. The students have to take amajor research

    activity as a part of the course. The aim of the program is to train students to assume independent

    responsibilities laying emphasis on the countrys current and future requirements in industry, R&D

    sustainabledevelopment.Thecourseoffersawidevarietyofelectivesinareaslikecleantechnologies,membrane

    separationprocesses,resourceconservation,waterqualitymanagementandsolidwastemanagement.

    requirement in view, the department has startedM. Tech. program inMechanical Engineering (with

    specialization inManufacturingTechnology) from theacademic session20092010.The applicationsof

    ManufacturingTechnologyareused tomanagemanufacturing resourcesefficiently andeffectivelyand

    thusimprovetheproductivityofanindustrialorganization.Further,italsohelpsinprovidinggoodquality
