PET 1. Check homework- ex 1 pg 62 ex 2 pg 63 ( Work in pairs...) 2. Revision - ex 5 pg 63 3. Go through what they need to do in Part 4 Speaking (maybe even make sure they remember what they have to do in the other 3 Parts. They tend to forget quite fast.) 4. Ex 2 and 3 pg 64- to reinforce the tips for this part and listen to an example 5. Ex 5, 6 and 8 pg 64- to help students practise full answers and respond appropriately to different questions. 6. Do the Spelling and sounds exercises ( 11, 12, 13 )- I believe they really have problems pronouncing correctly these sounds so it could be really useful. If they find it too easy you can move on after exercise 11. 7. Ex 9 and 10- controlled practice. Gives students more confidence before they do a full Speaking Part 4 task. 8. Do the same activity again but with a different partner. Se the activity up as a competition between pairs to see which pair can keep talking about the topic the longest. 9. Ex 15 and 16 pg 65. 10. Whole class feedback 11. Repeat the activity with a different partner. They should try to take into account the advice given in the feedback stage.
