Welcome to our 2011 Annual Bull Sale ON THE FARM! We are very excited to be hosting the sale at home. We put up a42x100 coverall shelter which will be used as a sale barn, calving barn and storage/shop in the summer.

For the past 8-9 years the cattle business has been some what, excuse me, HELL. I really don’t know how we survived buthere we are! Like most of you, I’m sure, I went to bed many nights wondering what we’re doing! I was hoping when I wokeup this nightmare of a ride would be over. Well I believe it is! We, as ranchers, live a life that many people envy. Sure, wemay need an extra job to make ends meet but raising a family, as a family is something we take great pride in. Someoneonce told me that you will never meet a rich rancher and I believe him. To me richness is not measured in money, it is theway you live your life. We should be very proud and honored for our perseverance and dedication in what we believe.Giving up is a word for which has no meaning!

It has been an encouraging start to 2011. The cattle markets are climbing!! Producers are beginning to see a real profit.Heavier calves are bringing values that we haven’t seen since BSE. The demand for calves will only continue. AuctionMarkets are already concerned with where they will source their calves to fill orders. We are in the right business tocapitalize on this demand. Pay weight has never been more important. Charolais sired calves will offer you more pounds andtherefore more JINGLE in your jeans! Our sale offering includes bulls with hair, tremendous performance, calving ease andstrong maternal traits. These bulls will help maximize your bottom line.

During thisperiod of time, they have been an integral source of supply for some of the best Charolais bulls in the nation…indicated bythe host of repeat buyers who source their bulls each year.

The 2011 edition of Perrot-Martin is the strongest group of bulls this farm has ever offered for sale! These bulls areloaded with performance, thickness, have tons of hair, docile in temperament and most importantly have the right kind ofhead to produce easy feeding, high weaning calves. It is a myth that the older a bull gets, the bigger his calveswill be. The genetics will not vary; however, environmentalconditions, management practices and feed qualityexperienced from year to year certainly will vary calf sizeand cow conditions which determine calving ease.

Whether you buy a yearling or two-year-old bull will notdetermine the length of time you can keep your bull. Thedetermining factor is usually whether replacement daughtersare kept or not and whether the bull remains sound andinjury free. very seldom will a bull that breeds cows everyyear become too big and too heavy to service cows.

Be assured that these two-year-olds ARE NOT leftovers. Ifyou need a two-year-old, don't compromise. Buy a bull tosuit your expectations and needs. Getting as many cowsbred as possible decreases your breeding costs and pays dividends.

Terms: The terms of the sale are cash of cheque, payable at par at the sale location. The right of property shall not pass until aftersettlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance, unless previous arrangements have been made. Every animal sells to thehighest bidder and in case of disputes, the auctioneer's decision will be final. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. Allmonies are in Candian funds.

Bidding: Each animal will sell to the highest bidder. No by-bidding will be permitted.

Disputes: Bidding will be reopened between the parties involved in dispute. If no furthe bidding is made, the buyer will be the personfrom whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer's decision on all disputes will be final.

Announcements: All announcements made from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue.Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay close attention to such disclosures.

Breeder's Guarantee: Should any bull fourteen (14) months of age or over fail to prove a breeder after being used on females known tobe breeders, the matter shall be reported in writing to the seller within six (60 months following the date of purchase or six (6) monthsafter the bull has reached fourteen (14) months of age.The seller will have the right and privilege of six (6) months to prove the bull abreeder. no guarantee is given that semen collected from the bull will freeze.

Exception of Guarantee: In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproduction techniques after the sale, thisguarantee shall be null and void.

Certificate of Registration: Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Charolais Association unless otherwise stated. Acertificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer after payment has been made.

Health: All animals in the sale have met all necessary health requirements.

Liabilities: All persons attend the sale at their own risk. The seller, facility owner and sale manager assume no liability, legal or otherwise,for any accidents that occur. It is understood that T Bar C Cattle Co. Ltd. is acting only as a medium between buyer and seller and is notresponsible for any failure on the part of either party to live up to his obligations. Neither does T Bar C Cattle Co. Ltd. assume any financialobligations to collect or enforce collection of any monies between parties and any legal action that may, in exceptional cases, be takenmust be between the buyer and the seller. T Bar C Cattle Co. Ltd. assumes no responsibility for any credit extended by the seller to thebuyer. The buyer must look to the seller for fulfillment of all guarantees and representations made hereunder.

Rights & Obligations: The above terms and conditions of the sale shall consitute a contract between the buyer and seller and beequally binding to both. Resale of the animals following purchase in this sale shall constiture a separate transaction and the rights andobligations of the two parties connected thereto are not covered by the terms and conditions of this sale.

Phone, Mail, Wire Bids: Bidders unable to attend the sale may phone, wire or mail their bids and sinstructions to the sale manager,auctioneer or special representatives. Bids must be received in sufficient time prior to the sale.

Delivery: We will assist in arranging transportation wherever possible. Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold.

Insurance: Will be available sale day. We strongly recommend that insurance is purchased for full value.

Errors: All announcement at sale time, written or oral, supercede any written material in the catalogue.
