Use in the stable

Make use of the multifaceted effects of GÜLLEMAX and begin with maintaining the slurry already in your stable.

Maintain the slurry of cattle and other ruminant animals

We recommend distributing 0.1 l GÜLLEMAX per week and livestock unit in the stable. 1 livestock unit

(LU) corresponds to 500 kg. Mix in GÜLLEMAX as a 5% solution (0.1 l GÜLLEMAX to 2 l water).

Slatted floors: Pour over the slats into the drains 1 – 2 x per week.

Scraper dunging: Pour onto the starting point 1 – 2 x per week and let the scraper distribute the GÜLLEMAX solution over the entire area.

Stantion barn: Pour over the manure trough 1 – 2 x per week before mucking out.

Maintaining pig slurry

Fattening: The total GÜLLEMAX dosage can be calculated with the aid of the number of m3 of slurry that is in the

slurry container prior to dumping. Add the first half to the still-empty drains at the beginning of a turnover and add the second half midway through the fattening period.

Farrow: The total GÜLLEMAX dosage can be calculated with the aid of the number of m³ of slurry that is in the slurry container prior to dumping. Put the first half into the still-empty drains and the second half into the half-full slurry containers.

Breeding and stables with deep-straw bedding: Pour 0.1 l GÜLLEMAX per livestock unit 1 x per week over the slats or onto the litter.

Dilute Güllemax with water to a 10% solution or less and make sure the solution is distributed evenly.

Dissolve drain obstructions

Distribute 0.2 l GÜLLEMAX / m³ drain contents over the slats.

In order to dissolve drain obstructions more quickly, pierce layers of scum with the pressure washer’s lance where possible so that the GÜLLEMAX solution can be injected directly.

Dilute with water to a 10% solution or less.

Break open and dissolve scum layers

To dissolve layers of scum in the slurry container, add the GÜLLEMAX solution directly to the slurry pool. The required amount is 0.2 l GÜLLEMAX per m³ of slurry, diluted to a 10% solution.

1) As far as possible, break open scum layers at several points with a stick so that the GÜLLEMAX solution can take effect intensively.

2) Add the GÜLLEMAX solution.

3) If possible, stir the slurry container. This helps to distribute the GÜLLEMAX solution and it accelera-tes its impact. The layers of scum are dissolved after about 30 days.

Maintain the slurry container

0.2 l Güllemax / m³ slurry. Dilute with water to a 10% solution or less.

Improving poultry farm hygiene

For improving farm hygiene for bred chickens and turkeys, as well as for breeding pullets and laying hens, we recommend treating the cage area,

brooder or laying house with a 5% GÜLLEMAX solution.

For turkey and fattened chickens we recommend 1.5 l of GÜLLEMAX per 100 m² of cage, brooder or laying house surface area. For pullets and laying hens we recommend a slightly increased dosage of 2 l of GÜLLEMAX per 100 m² of cage, brooder or laying house surface area (including sheds).

Recommended application steps:1. Muck out.2. Spray dry floor, walls, ceiling and stabling areas

with GÜLLEMAX solution and let soak for 30 minutes.

3. Wash and disinfect, letting the area to dry each time.

4. Spray dry floor, walls, ceiling and stabling areas with GÜLLEMAX solution once more and let dry.

5. Deploy litter and transfer chicks / chickens to the cage area.

Solid manure composting

0.3 l GÜLLEMAX / m³ manure. Likewise blend in as a 5% solution and pour over the solid manure in layers.

Wash 50 –100 m² stable / milking parlor

Treat 5 m³ slurry (corresponds to a 5000-liter slurry barrel)

Wash stable and milking parlor Soak dry dirty surfaces and dung encrustations (don’t pre-soften with water!) with 5% GÜLLEMAX solution – with pressure washer or foam pistol (e.g., GÜLLEMAX dosing syringe), depending on your possibilities.

Place GÜLLEMAX in the mixing tank of the pressure washer or suck it in directly with the suction hose. Set it to a 5% mixing ratio. Spray dung encrustations with the GÜLLEMAX solution until they are dripping wet.

Let sit for 20 – 30 minutes so that GÜLLEMAX can partially dissolve the contaminated and encrusted spots.

Hose down the dirt with the pressure washer at close range (10 – 20 cm).

Spray the cleaned surfaces once again with 5% GÜLLEMAX solution so that new contaminants are no longer able to adhere as strongly.
