Implementing Fast The Sourcing & Negotiation solution implementation process was a simple, straight-forward and fast. It took only days to implement the Sourcing & Negotiation methodology, consisting of a Product normalization tem-plate, specification, easy to understand & follow procedure, and basic user training on the Bidding Systems. Ygl i-Bay has deployed a consultant to implement the solu-tion in time for the Perfect (China) Co.’s new Yangzhou plant in the overall production equipment acquisition.

The Sourcing & Negotiation solution entails onsite and re-motely reverse auction supported by an e-Bidding portal. The state-of-the-art e-Bidding application is able to create the reverse auction experience as if it is conducted live. The e-Bidding portal reduces the overall negotiation lead time, eliminates the travel expenses and onsite administra-tive burden, which these expenses are likely to be factored into the final price. It is a perfect win-win business scenario for suppliers and buyers.
