For the third year in a row, the Presbytery of the Twin Cities
Area has
held the line on Per Capita apportionments. Staff and
committee
members work very hard to be good stewards of the
moniesremitted. In 2010, the Per Capita portion of the PTCA budget
was$416,000, this was covered in part by $319,000 of the Presbytery
Per
Capita which was remitted by the congregations. To make up
the
difference, Mission pledge dollars and Mission Partnership
dollarsfrom the Synod, are used to cover part of the salaries for
program
staff.
Our new strategic plan says; We fearlessly follow the Holy
Spirit into a changing world. The
Presbytery of the Twin Cities Area is doing great and important
things in the kingdom of God, paying PerCapita is an integral part
of reaching those accomplishments. The membership number for PTCA
in 2011
is 25,259 which generates $481,437.00. Be a part of Gods work in
PTCA by urging your congregation to
pay its Per Capita in a timely fashion.
