Because of the proximity, the gardens can be visited permanently, in order to highlight the direct relationship be-tween the producer and the consumer, eliminating intermediaries. The Asso-ciation guarantees to the producer the complete sale of its production, through its network of collaboration with res-taurants, stores and Chefs. The Asso-ciation aims to create jobs and invest in the local economy instead of multi-national foreign economies. Transport and coal impact will be limited because in each production area there will be a producer who will accumulate the productions and deliver them to the costumers. The Association will help technically and financially those who choose ecological solutions and envi-ronmental protection for the develop-ment of organic gardens. The farmer must certify to be organic throughout all his cooperation’s time. The pro-ducer must engage himself to allocate a financial portion of the sale of its pro-duction to the Association’s charitable projects. Best whishes of Happy Sum-mer Days.

L’onore della precedenza in que-sta nostra lista di alcuni tra i molti geni che portano l’arte e la creatività italiana nel Principato e nel mondo va senz’altro ad un pittore internazionale, il genovese Gino Borlandi, noto a Monaco per una mostra memorabile dedicata a Venezia all’Hotel de Paris nel 2014, oltre che per il fatto di essere titolare di una splendida collezione di campanelli di Grandi Alber-ghi della Belle Epoque, di cui esistono ancora splendidi esempi a Monte Carlo. Attivo e premiato in tutta Italia a partire dalle prime collettive e poi dal successo delle personali fin dagli anni Settanta, Borlandi raccoglie da decenni consensi nel mondo, dalla Svizzera a New York, fino ai nostri giorni, come ultimamente in occasione di una bellissima Persona-le a Cadaques, presentata da Catherina Moor Perrot, e della già nominata mostra “Venice in my Mind” a Monte Carlo. Ma specialmente Borlandi è molto amato in Spagna, dove dal 2012 una sua luminosa creazione dal titolo “Fantasia Spaziale” è

esposta nel Museu de Arte di Cadaquès, accanto a Salvador Dalì e ad altri celebri artisti internazionali. Sempre in Spagna, negli anni Ottanta, il famoso mecenate d’Arte bavarese Carlos Dudek, creatore della Fondazione Museale “Casa de Los Artistas” a Ibiza, acquista con entusiasmo moltissime opere di Borlandi, che espone accanto ai massimi artisti dell’arte con-temporanea. Ne consegue che Borlandi lavora e stringe una sincera amicizia con Josep Coll Bardolet, cui lo Stato spagno-lo ha dedicato il Museu Coll Bardolet in Valdemossa di Palma, nelle Isole Balea-ri, e con il grande maestro Narciso Puget Riquier, al quale Il Ministero della Cul-tura Spagnolo ha dedicato in questi anni il Museu Puget a Ibiza. Inoltre, avendo in comune il medesimo mercante d’arte, Paul Werthaimer, Borlandi ha l’occasio-ne di frequentare il celebre pittore russo Valdemar Boberman (1897-1987), fa-cente parte del Gruppo Pittori della Ga-leria Internacional de Arte di Ibiza. Ogni quadro di Borlandi è come un’improvvisa apertura su un miracolo in attesa di essere rivelato, di una realtà che aveva bisogno di essere scoperta e amata. Per quanto ri-

guarda i modi espressivi di Borlandi, essi ricordano quelli di Van Gogh e Gauguin per l’accensione del colore, per quel loro farsi incandescenti grazie a una parteci-pazione sentimentale e mentale profonda. Se si prendono come punti di riferimento certi quadri di quei due grandi maestri dell’espressionismo, è facile accorgersi che anche in Borlandi la smania della luce è spesso simile. Il paesaggio viene ricreato fin dal primo sguardo, sicché l’oggetto, pur restando se stesso, diventa punto di partenza per una trasfigurazione appassionata, ma non letteraria, per una definizione attiva in nome di una data cul-tura temporanea. MASTER OF COLOR The honor to be the first in this list

of some of the many genius who convey the Italian art and creativity in the Principality is due to an international painter, the genoese Gino Borlandi. This artist is well known in Monaco for a memorable exhibition about Venice hosted at the Hotel de Paris in 2014, as well as being the owner of a stunning collection of old bells of Belle Epoque Grand Hotel, of which there are still some wonderful examples in Monte Carlo. Borlandi’s solo exhibitions are rewarded throughout Italy since the seventies, then for decades he collects achievements and success around the world, from Switzerland to New York, to this day, as recently at a successful solo exhibition in Cadaques, presented by Catherina Moor Perrot, and during the above-mentioned “Venice in my Mind” in Monte Carlo. Borlandi’s work is especially popular in Spain, where in 2012 his brilliant creation entitled “Space Fantasy” is exhibited in the Mu-seu de Arte in Cadaques, along with

Salvador Dalì and other famous inter-national artists. Also in Spain in the eighties, a famous patron of Art, the Bavarian Carlos Dudek, creator of the Foundation Museum “Casa de Los Ar-tistas” in Ibiza, buys many Borlandi’s beautiful works, exhibiting them along-side the greatest artists of the contem-porary art. It follows that Borlandi works and tightens a sincere friendship with Josep Coll Bardolet, to whom the Spanish State has dedicated the Museu Coll Bardolet in Valdemossa-Palma, in the Balearic Islands, and with the great master Narciso Puget Riquier, to whom the Spanish Ministry of Culture has de-voted in recent years the Museu Puget in Ibiza. In addition, having in common the same art dealer, Paul Werthaimer, Borlandi had the opportunity to stay in contact with the famous Russian Valde-mar Boberman (1897-1987), leading painter of the Group of Painters of the

Galeria Internacional de Arte in Ibiza. Each Borlandi’s painting is like the sudden opening of a miracle waiting to be revealed, a reality that needed to be discovered and loved. As for his expres-sion’s habits, they are reminiscent of Van Gogh and Gauguin for the color’s flashes, and for the feeling of a deep mental and emotional involvement. If you take certain pictures as reference points of those two great masters of ex-pressionism, it is easy to see that even in Borlandi the desire of brightness is of-ten similar. Borlandi recreates the landscape at first glance, so that the object, while remaining himself, be-comes the starting point for a passion-ate transfiguration, but not literary, for an active definition in the name of a given temporary culture happens. It is certain that all this is due to the pas-sion, the talent and the wonderful hid-den treasures of this great Artist.
