Smeal College of Business MBA Class of 2009 Directory

Greetings from the Penn State Smeal MBA Program.

As you know, the economy and hence the job market is suffering through one of its worst post-war periods. That means that there are still many talented MBA students seeking permanent employment. In an effort to help get the word out to Penn State alumni and supporters, we have developed a list of MBA students who are currently seeking permanent positions. In the pages that follow, you will find short biographies of the students describing their ex-periences, interests, and career goals. These biographical snapshots allow for a quick and easy review of our MBA talent.

One of the greatest assets of the Smeal College here at Penn State is the passion, the enthusiasm, and the support of the alumni. Simply put, Penn Staters are terrific at helping their fellow Penn Staters. We therefore seek your engagement on several levels.

If you are hiring, we would welcome the opportunity to discuss your • needs with us so we could refer students to you.

If someone else within your firm is hiring, would you pass this list along • with an offer of our assistance should your contact have any questions?

If you know of others outside your firm who might be interested in re-• ceiving this list, would you pass their names along to us so we can send them a copy?

In a good job market, most of these students would already have been hired at this point. I urge you not to pass on the opportunity to hire good people. We would be happy to provide further information on any of these students so please do not hesitate to contact us.

Regards,

Dennis Sheehan

Associate Dean for MBA Programs
