boat across the Salish Sea,
float plane, car, bicycle, or on

of the many car stops or give you directions

visiting the islands. You can also hop on our
community bus which runs two to four days

Car Stop Program: Pender Island is proud of its unique program providing rides for hikers and visitors without their own transport, who can wait at designated stops for a passing motorist to pick them up. Motorists arriving at North Pender on BC Ferries can put a green card on their dashboard indicating they’re willing to take foot passengers.
