Gibbs

Reproduction of one of the most famous ries in the eld of the precision target shooting, made in 1865 by the English

gunsmith George Gibbs. A rie born to satisfy both the aesthetical purists and the shooters who wish to challenge inthe 100 meters target shooting and longer ranges. Blue, steel octagon to round barrel. The walnut stock is checkered,oil nished and completed with a premium gured wood butt cap and nose cap. The pistol grip shape enables acomfortable grip and a very good balance. Equipped with high precision Creedmoor sight, windage and elevationadjustment of the eye piece up to 3 about (76 mm), spirit level tunnel front sight with windage adjustable with amicrometer screw, completed with a set of 15 interchangeable inserts (USA 408). The Deluxe version is enriched withengravings nished by hand, identical to those shown on an original rie. The lock, breech plug, tang and the triggerguard are engraved with a very ne English style pattern. The stock is made with selected walnut, the grip and theforend have a ne checkering.

Gibbs is also available in Gibbs Shotgun Standard Percussion Deluxe Gibbs Long Range Rie and Gibbs Long Range Rie.

Reproduction of an English rie with octagonal to round barrel. The oil nished European walnut stock iscompleted by a typical English styled cheek piece and checkered. Indian Trade Musket

A model faithfully reecting the type of ries that since the late 1700s wereused by the most well known trading companies (Northwest Co., Hudsons BayCo., American Fur Co.) for the trades with the American Indians and the white

hunters. These guns showing the classical lines of the old European musketsproduced both by European manufacturers and by the most well knownAmerican manufacturers, such as Leman, Henry, Tryon and Deringer. The snakeshape decoration is enriched by engravings. The wood ramrod and the largetrigger guard were typical features of these guns. Made with walnut stock andrust brown colour barrel can compete in the clay pigeon target class in theManton R discipline, or it can be used for general hunting, loading either shotor a round ball. The kit version is supplied with metallic nails to create drawingsreferred, for instance to the Sioux Lakotas culture. The more frequent ornamentwas a circle with inside one cross to feature the Medicine Wheel or The SacreLife Circle (Cangleska Wakan). It represents the harmony of the universe with thecorps circular shape and their movement; the cross represents the unied fourdirections that support the creation structure, keeping it steady. The number fourcan refer to the Seasons, to the days phases of the mans existence, the parts of atree, or the human races.

Frontier

This replica, stocked in select American maple, or walnut, reproduces faithfully theoriginal ries produced during the golden age of the American long rie (1760-1840). As with the squirrel ries of this period, renowned for their accuracy at anyrange, this model reveals meticulous working of all metal parts and of the stock. The octagonal ried barrel is rust brown colour nished. The rie is provided withadjustable double set triggers. Trigger guard and butt plate are made of brass,lock and ttings are colour case hardened. Jger

The Jger rie is well known in Germany and in the neighbouring Countriesespecially for hunting, it was taken to the New Continent by immigrants lookingfor a new life in a new Country. The Jger rie was one the most balanced andcompact ries, very characteristic for its big caliber; equipped with double settrigger, it was very precise, able to shoot big balls having a very high energy.

The Jger rie was rst made in the intlock version and only afterwards it wastransformed to a percussion rie. Our reproduction gives the shooter improvedresults due to the broached riing as well as the lock parts produced on highlyadvanced computer controlled machines (CNC). The ne artistic beauty iscaptured in the patch box with sliding lid, in the walnut wood and completedwith steel furniture and ttings which create a strong image for this rie. It is a neperforming rie, both for hunting and for target shooting.

Wrttembergischen

Faithful reproduction of a military rie, which in the past Century it wasmanufactured by the Gewehrfabrik in Oberndorf from 1857 to 1866. The infantryWrttembergisch Vereinsgewehr 1857 model, with percussion lock andried barrel 13,9 mm (.547) caliber, was adopted in the States of Wrttemberg,Baden and Great Axia dukedom. An extremely accurate rie reproduced to be acontender in the Mini 100 meters target shooting specialty. Equipped with arear sight on a squared high base, adjustable for windage and elevation. It is a riewhich has to be carefully observed to appreciate the details, both technical andaesthetical ones.

An IX

The Dragoons, special infantry corps in the 1600s that rode horses, but fought likethe Infantry corps, and by the end of the 1700s they had become a regular cavalryforce equipped with carbines. They were very similar, for model and caliber to the

infantry muskets, but lighter and shorter, with brass furniture to avoid oxidationdue to horses sweat, the double iron bands to stand the traction of the beltwhen the gun was shouldered trot riding a horse. Our reproduction copies all theoriginal features of the musket. The stock is made of walnut.

Revolutionnaire 1777

Representing the infantry gun during the French Revolution, it is the result ofthe modications made to various muskets produced since 1765, with all theinterchangeable parts from one gun to the other. The peculiar features of thismusket put into evidence the middle band and the front band xed with screwsand the angular frizzen prole. All the metal parts are made of steel, except thepan made of brass; the walnut stock is oil nish.

Corrig An IX

Faithful reproduction of the famous French intlock musket, modied andadopted on the 9th year of the French Revolution. Basic gun for the Napoleonarmy, it is quite similar to its predecessor the 1777 Model, the differences are inthe frizzen shape and in the bands springs. All the metal parts are made of steel,except for the pan that is made of brass: the walnut stock is oil nish.

Austrian 1798

Prussian 1809

Takes its origins from the famous 1777 musket, differing from this only in some minor details. This musket faithfully reproduces theoriginal model made in Potsdam. The barrel is of polished steel and all metal parts are of brass. The walnut stock is oil nished. Thepolished steel lock, recalls the 1777 model, and is inscribed Potsdam.

Brown Bess

The Brown Bess was the musket used by the English troops during the Empire extension and consolidation in India and America.Veteran of the Seven Years War, it was used also by Wellington during the war in the Iberian Peninsula and at Waterloo. The infantrytroops of almost the entire world used it, from the European Nations allied with the English to the Mexican troops, who used it until

the last battle with United States on the 13th of September 1847 at Chapultepec. Our reproduction has a lock with the signature of thegunsmith William Grice and the date 1762, the crown and the alphabetical letters GR (Georgius Rex). The smooth bore barrel is made ofsteel, satin nish, the walnut stock is oil nish. Available are the bayonet and the scabbard.

Brown Bess is also available in Brown Bess Musket and Brown Bess Carbine.

Harpers Ferry 1816

The U.S 1816 musket was originally produced in the arsenals at Harpers Ferry and Springeld between 1816 and 1844, taking thedesign from the famous 1777 French muskets. It was rst produced in large quantities, in the intlock version and later convertedto percussion, to be used during the Civil War. The barrel is made of polished steel and fastened to the stock by two bands. Thewalnut stock is oil nished and shows the government J.P. proof mark.

On 1792 Austria was involved in the Wars of Revolution and of the Empire; the War Ministry in Vienna had to face a new way to ghtthe Revolution corps, based on the need to quickly move the troops and on new infantry tactics. The belief was that the reason for theFrench victories was due to their Model 1777 musket, so at the end of the First Italian Campaign, a commission was charged to adoptnew guns for the Austrian army. On the 26th of July 1798 came the new model, that even if inspired by the French model, has othertypical Austrian features, like the voluminous front band, the ramrod with a new prole and the long bayonet with four edges. Themusket Model 1798 is a well made gun, very strong and for some points it is better than its French progenitor. The stock is made ofwalnut, steel metal furniture , except the bands, the trigger guard and the pan that are made of brass.

Rocky Mountain Hawken

The Hawken is a symbol of the period that saw the passage from the long andheavy small caliber Pennsylvania ries to more practical and powerful Plainsries, and the denite abandoning of the intlock for the far more modernpercussion system. The strong barrel and the larger calibre, enabled hits on any

target with surprising accuracy. This rie soon became the inseparable friend ofthe Mountains men, and the most famous explorers of the American continent. The Rocky Mountain Hawken is offered with the maple stock or walnut stock witha barrel having 7 grooves obtained by broaching, rust brown colour nish, steelmetal parts.

Produced with octagonal, conical blued barrel, case hardened colour frame isequipped with ramp rear sight adjustable in elevation. Butt plate and triggerguard made of steel. Straight stock and forend made of walnut oil nish. Springeld Trapdoor

At the end of the Civil War (1865), the war department had to replace theexcellent muzzle loading muskets with metallic cartridge ries. Between 1865

and 1866 appeared the rst transformation of a muzzle loading Springeldmusket made by Allin and in 1868 the rst Trapdoor Rie was built, furthermodied in 1870; three years later a new rie in the .45-70 caliber answered to allthe exigencies. During the following 20 years quite a big number of Springeld Trapdoor ries have been manufactured, among them also many versions withsmooth barrel for cadets, for the target shooting and destined to the Officers. The Springeld Trapdoor rie is a typical gun of the American soldiers, includingGeneral Custer. It equipped the troops also during the Spanish-AmericanWar (1898-1899). Davide Pedersoli Co. is pleased to be able to offer awlessreproductions of the three most signicant models: the U.S. Army Rie (S.905),the U.S. Cavalry Carbine (S.900) and the Officers Rie (S.910), this last equippedwith a single set trigger, rear sight and Creedmoor sight adjustable in elevationand windage. All of these follow the originals perfectly and blend traditionalgunsmiths handcraft arts to state of the art technology. The Deluxe (L) andExtra Deluxe (LL) versions are characterized by rich engravings. The Extra Deluxeversion, more precious for the gold inlays on the frame, the engraving is madealso on the stocks bands.

A reproduction of one of the most famous ries used during the 1890s bycowboys and settlers of the American West and today very desired by CowboyAction Shooters, hunters and collectors. To the original American model, we madeimportant modications to the mechanical parts to make the rie more safe andreliable. With great care, we retained the fascination, beauty and appearance ofthe original rie while at the same time making subtle changes to design out theweaknesses of the original and give todays shooters an accurate and reliable rie.Available in the Rie version with 24 and 26 octagonal or round barrels, in theCarbine version with 20 octagonal barrel and Baby Carbine with 20 round barrelretained to the magazine by a shaped double ring band. High Wall

Among the ries that have proudly descended from the legendary American late eighteen hundreds era, there is this classicsingle shot rie designed by John Modrd Btoeninh for long range target shooting. The broached riing barrel is made ofhigh carbon steel, matt blue. The frame has a case hardened colour. It is equipped with a single set trigger. The pistol gripstock with checkered grip panels has the cheek piece and a large butt plate. The checkered forend prole provides a steadyand safe grip. It is produced with 32(813 mm) barrel in the .45-70 caliber (S.804-S.806) and with 30 (762 mm) barrel in

the .38-55 caliber with 1:12/305 mm twist (S.805-S.807). The rie is equipped with Winchester type rear sight and a bladefront sight, drilled and tapped to mount a suitable tang sight matched with the tunnel front sight. The Classic versiondifferentiates for the trigger guard feature.

1874 Sharps Trapdoor

Among the paper cartridge Sharps ries you can nd the Sporting model withoctagonal barrel rust brown nish colour, adjustable front sight and set trigger,the Infantry and Cavalry models with blue round barrel, kept by bands, have xedfront sight and patchbox on the stock. Of the Infantry model there is also theBerdan version, equipped with double set trigger. All the models are equippedwith graduated rear sight with sliding plate.

It is availablein various calibers and also in the Kombo version: one ried barrel and onesmooth barrel 12 gauge. On request it can be manufactured with interchangeable12 gauge barrels.
