Open to women from all areas of the property industry and all cycling abilities, pedElle is the ultimate challenge, taking networking to the next level. Over three days, the cyclists will ride 500km from Porto this year, following the Portugal coast, taking in incredible views of the sea then heading inland for some challenging climbs and thrilling descents. Riders will be overnighting at the inland cities of Viseu and Leiria en route, arriving in the capital city of Lisbon three days later for a well-earned rest.
As with all Club Peloton events, riders will experience road cycling from an elite rider’s perspective, including a full crew comprising mechanical support, medics, physiotherapists and lead car, as well as UK support staff, leaving them free to concentrate on turning the pedals and networking with fellow cyclists.

Evan was born to parents with severe mental health problems making it unlikely that they would be able to care for him. Concurrent Planning is a pioneering service designed for children like Evan that places babies with foster parents whilst the courts decide whether their birth home is safe and stable enough.
When Evan was just a few days old he was taken into the care of Chris and Angela. They were prepared to care for Evan for as long as he needed them. This meant that during his vital first months of life, he was in a loving home and starting to form bonds, rather than facing a disruptive journey through the care system.
Every support was given to Evan’s parents to help them improve their lives so that he could return to live with them.
As months went by, Chris and Angela were forming strong bonds with Evan, knowing that the court was yet to make their final decision. After a year, it was decided that Evan would be safest with Chris and Angela and they became his adoptive parents.
Since this scheme began in 1999 every single placement has been successful. This vital service offers vulnerable newborn babies the stability and love they so desperately need in their first months and years of life.

Coram receive two thirds of the money raised by Club Peloton, primarily supporting the flagship service: Coram Adoption.
As the UK’s first ever children’s charity, established in 1739, Coram has been transforming children’s lives for 277 years.
Today, they help hundreds of thousands of vulnerable children and young people every single year by developing skills, building emotional strength, upholding children’s rights and finding adoptive parents for those in greatest need.
In 2016, we helped:
• 175 children living in care withnew adoptive families
• place 18 vulnerable children withtheir ‘forever family’
• 64 children and their families toreceive a lifetime of post adoptionsupport
• 100,571 children and parentsthrough direct services
• approve 76 new adopters
• Coram’s Adoption Activity Daysfound loving homes for more than120 children

Tom’s Trust supports many projects offering a real benefi t to young people.
In 2016, Club Peloton helped fund three of these projects: the Bethwin Football Club in Peckham, Switchback in East London and the OK Club in Kilburn.
Tom’s Trust will continue to support up to 15 different projects in 2017. One of the new projects is called ‘Centre of the Cell’ which encourages young people to explore the world of science and gives them the opportunity to fi nd out more about how to take up a science related career.

The Raphael Pre-School in Grahamstown, South Africa, funded by Club Peloton, is a fun and safe place for the forty eight children whose lives are far from easy. They live in HIV affected homes and entrenched poverty, due to the highest unemployment rate in the region. These children are, however, luckier than most of their friends because they attend a nursery school where there is always a listening ear, a helping hand and a welcoming smile.
This year, we are fundraising to upgrade training for teaching staff plus visits by Raphael Centre counsellors to the homes of the children’s parents and caregivers offering extra support.

Article 25 design and construct buildings in international development, providing schools, homes and health facilities wherever there is a disaster, poverty or need.
They offer essential technical skills to aid agencies, communities and governments in building projects.
The support from the 2016 ride helped the continuing program of repair and reconstruction of educational facilities in Haiti which improved the lives of large numbers of children.

MULTIPLE SYSTEM ATROPHY TRUST
Multiple System Atrophy is a life-limiting neurological brain disease which can affect any adult. Currently, one person a day is diagnosed with MSA.
From the moment of diagnosis, the Trust provides MSA specialist nurses, telephone support, an online forum for people affected by MSA and information for healthcare professionals.
Club Peloton rides support ongoing research into a cure. Proceeds from the 2016 ride went specifi cally towards the expansion of a national support group network, reaching those affected by this terrible disease.
