PEACE-NIC FOR PEACEWhen?We’re launching our International Picnics for Peace initiative on September 21, 2014 to coincide with the UN’s International Day of Peace, and you can picnic for peace anytime between September 21 and October 31 2014.
What’s a Peace-nic?Your very own delicious vegan/animal product-free picnic, to celebrate peace for all species and raise funds and raise awareness for the Deep Peace Trust, a charity dedicated to honoring a world of deep peace for all species and which is involved in supporting over 320 animals in sanctuary.
Invite your family and friends, spoil them with a delicious picnic and then ask for a donation in return. You could even take it a step further and add a theme! Every dollar counts, and whether you raise $40 or $400, you can really make a difference. $200 currently buys a large bale of hay for the sanctuary.
Where?Where ever you like! Here are a few ideas, but the sky’s the limit!
