Investigator Assignments PCMS can automatically assign cases to investigators our outside vendors based on a number of criteria such as type of investigation, location or investigators specialty. Assignments can also be created manually when automated rules are not met or if the system is not configured to automatically assign cases. Multiple investigators can be assigned to cases along with administrative and support personnel. Approval / Confirmations As part of the configured workflow, approvals and confirmations can be built into the process. This enables clients to build in a Quality Assurance Process before case is completed. TimeLine The Time Line view enables you to see what has taken place throughout the life of an investigation over the course of time. Access to detailed information about activity is available with the click of a button on the Time Line view. People and Entities PCMS provides extensive contact management capability. Individuals such as subjects, witnesses, attorneys, prosecutors, providers employees, companies and government regulators and others can be stored within the system. Documents, licenses, certifications and other information based to the role of the individual or entity can be stored Business Process Management More than any other factor, the ability to configure an investigation management solution to reflect your business process provides an edge over the competition. PCMS enables you to build your business process into the application and is fully configurable through a user interface. Case View

Permalinks

As contacts are entered into PCMS and attached to cases, information pertaining to these contacts can be stored and tracked by type of contact. To create a brief of evidence to refer a case/cases for prosecution, users can select which reports and assets related to a case to be included in the brief of evidence for prosecution. The user can then select the order these reports and assets are to appear in the brief of evidence. The report is then created in a single .PDF format with a Table of Contents and all of the reports and assets attached in the order selected.Metrics

Metrics such as mileage, expenses, timeliness, time became active number of hours and any other metrics that you need to track can be configured within PCMS along with the ability to report on these metrics.Uploading of Files

Over 30 file types can be uploaded in PCMS. This process enables the ability to upload one or a number of files to be uploaded at one time. If during the upload process the internet connection is interrupted, the process will resume where it left off, when reconnected.Investigation & Task Management

One or more people can be assigned to a case, a single case owner can be assigned, tasks and due dates can be assigned. Notifications and reminders via email or text message can be sent to the appropriate people. Automatic escalation of tasks can enable managers to stay on top of over due tasks. This ensures nothing is forgotten and investigations stay on track.Mapping

Integrated Mapping displays the location. of investigators, leads, subjects contacts providers & evidence.Scheduling

Invoices can be generated from within the case data and metrics tracked on the case. Rates configurable based on the client and type of case being worked. As payments are made, outstanding balances can be tracked and reported on within PCMS.
