PBoX journey dairy

To newbies and PBoX seniors,

PboX has gone through a long journey to make positive impact on the society with so many difficulties and obstacles.

Sometimes, you might want to give up and sometimes you might be really demotivated.

However, we are still in our boat to our vision because there is nothing an AIESECer can not do and we, PBoXers, are proud of our AIESEC manner and strive for the best ever.

Applying for AIESEC is such a harsh journey of recruitment with so many many “cruel witches” and “ugly giants”. They have created so many rounds to judge you, to “xoi moi” you and leak you out if you are not strong enough…

Then you, our newbies, the most talented candidates have passed through the difficulties and joined AIESEC big family …

…However…

it is JUST THE BEGINNING of AIESEC JOURNEY coz you will FACE EVEN “WORSE” OBSTACLES THAN EVER….

and let us help you to reveal the

PBoX journey and your own

journey in AIESEC!!!

PboX boat’s structure

The prime captain is “Nguyen

Thi Ai Nguyen” known as Vice

president of Project…

She has totally 15 disciples to

help her manage and develop

“Project” journey – “Living with

HIV” and “Hope for children”.

.

Among these disciples, she has chosen 2 most

potential assistants to control each project…

Le Thi Cam Nhung

Project Leader – “Living with

HIV”

Phan Thi Thanh Thuy

Project Leader – “Hope for

children”

Day by day, they devote their knowledge, “ tuổi

trẻ” and beauties to:

1. Searching and approaching partners (venue,

learning partners and sponsors) to workshops,

interactive activities and contests.

2. Planning the content and organizing workshops, interactive

activities and contest:

• Ensure the content suit different audience and the updated

information about HIV/AIDS and children and allocate HR

to members and interns to present workshops, prepare

logistics, materials, etc.

Organize the agenda of trips and games for interaction between

HIV children and interns/ students, prepare logistics, materials,

etc and also for the Christmas event for kids.

• Planning the content of “Lead the change” contest –

“Living with HIV” project, the promotion on online and

offline channels and keep track the performance of

activities; approaching potential partners and sponsors for

the contest, etc.

3. Finalizing all materials and tools for

workshops, interactive activities and contests.

4. Evaluating workshop and activities quality:

get feedback forms from students and schools

to judge and improve the quality of upcoming

activities.

5. Keep relationship

with partners.

To do the best of these they have to obtain a lot

of competencies and skills like:

• Project planning and management.

• Sales skills.

• Commitment to results.

• Flexible thinking.

• Effective communication.

• Stakeholder focus.

• Account management skills.

• Resilience.

Although we really work hard, in PBoX we also think that “STUDY HARD, WORK HARD AND PLAY EVEN HARDER” coz we are proud of being the most “bựa” and “quằn quại” function in

LC with so many parties and hang – out ….

Cooking day – 2nd Sep

Birthday Party 24/09

Last words

• Thao Trang: “HFC project has had many achievements.

We have worked with more than 5 orphanages, engaged

about 300 children. It’s not a huge number. If we

compare with other projects, it’s not good at all. But for

HFC members, we don’t want to focus just only a

number, but we want to focus also on our event’s quality.

And actually, it is really a challenge. For all of us,

members and interns who didn’t have any experience in

teaching children, however, with our passion on making

an impact on society and our true love for children, it

encourages us to overcome difficulties and challenges. If

you want to experience urself in social projects and

challenge urself, don’t hestitate to choose PBoX. And

either HIV or HFC, I think you will satisfy with ur

experiences in the future”

• Carlijn: It’s good to work with the aiesecers from

Vietnam. They are really driven and focused. In my opinion

that’s the reason this project is working so well. They give

themselves for a 100% and want to do a lot of other things

besides the workshops. Because of this, they ensure that we

give us self also for 100%. That’s the reason I’m thinking

that I definitely can mean something for the students and

HIV infected people in Vietnam. I can already say that this

project affects me in a positive way! Firstly it’s good to see

the Vietnamese people from aiesec work. See that they are

so driven and focused, I am sure I can learn a lot from there

working mentality. On the other hand I learn more and more

about the HIV situation in Vietnam. Now I know I can help

to raise awareness about HIV, so that the spread of HIV and

the discrimination of HIV infected people will be less.

Dear all,

Our journey – PBoX journey is still on the way.

And we really want you to part of us, to bring more

colors for life, for our HIV/unprivileged children

and for yourself as well.

Do you know that the worst thing in the world is

not HIV/AIDS, it is the hopelessness!!!

And we are changing this mindset day by day with

our greatest attempts.

Whatever function you choose, we just want you to

keep in mind that

“We are all changing the world we live in with our

self- change”

Once you are in AIESEC, let’s enjoy it :D and feel

the warm of family.

Form PboXers with love,
