SGG DECORGLASS®

DESCRIPTION

SGG DECORGLASS is a range of patterned clear, body-tinted or wired glass. The translucent patterned glasses are produced by casting and rolling the glass between two cylinders, one of which is embossed with a pattern.

SAINT-GOBAIN has developed an exclusive product criterion:

SGG Vision Control Factor. It assigns each SGG DECORGLASS a factor of 1 to 10.

- Class 1 indicates maximum vision obstruction, i.e. an object is barely visible behind the glass.

- Class 10 indicates minimal vision obstruction with respect to the visibility of an object.

APPLICATIONS

SGG DECORGLASS may be used for interior or exterior applications and is ideal for creating bright and private spaces.

PROCESSING

SGG DECORGLASS† can be:

- Edgeworked

- Tempered or laminated* for safety purposes

- Incorporated into SGG STADIP SILENCE acoustic PVB safety laminated glass*

- Assembled into double-glazed units for thermal insulation

† excluding SGG WIRED glass. * the patterned side must face the outside of the assembly.

ASSEMBLY

SGG DECORGLASS must be installed in accordance with safety standards and current national regulations.

For uniform appearance, adjacent panes should all be cut and glazed in the same pattern direction.

STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS

SGG DECORGLASS carries the relevant CE marking in accordance with standard EN 572-9.

SAINT-GOBAIN BUILDING GLASS puts the highest effort in order to ensure accuracy of the information included in the brochure at the moment of printing. Please obtain the Declaration of Performance for the most up to date information.
