A specially designed version of the QA3 for Accident & Emergencydepartments is available. This will include an X-ray translucent platform, a medirail and the K8 pressure care mattress. Optional features include a monitor shelf and a Venturi suction system.

Its compact construction is light weight yet robust, and its advancedsteering system and ergonomically positioned pushing handles make itsupremely manoeuvrable and easily guided by one person. Wider than theprevious version by 100mm (although the overall trolley width has onlyincreased by 30mm), it descends to an exceptionally low height, whileunique foldaway cotsides store away under the mattress footprint to give avirtually zero transfer gap. The back rest is gas assisted for easy lifting andTrendelenburg (and reverse Trendelenburg) tilt can be operated instantly atany height from the head end.
