Weekly Bulletin—Extra Edition Monday December 17, 2018

The Weekly Bulletin is published by the Passenger Transportation Board to give public notice of:

• applications, decisions, hearings and other matters relating to applications for special authorization to operate taxis, limousines, other passenger directed vehicles and inter-city buses

• Board decisions on appeals of administrative penalties imposed by the Registrar of Passenger Transportation

• various policy and information updates for the commercial passenger transportation industry

1 Industry Updates & Advisories

Publication of the Weekly Bulletin During the 2018 Holiday Season.

The Weekly Bulletin will not be published Wednesday December 26, 2018. The first Bulletin of 2019 will be published on Wednesday, January 3, 2019.

“Extra” Weekly Bulletins for 2018 As needed, for the remainder of 2018, the Board may publish up to one extra edition of the Weekly Bulletin per week, either on a Friday or a Monday. This is in addition to editions that are published on Wednesdays. The extra editions respond to high volumes of applications and status enquiries about applications that have been received or decided by the Board. Most published applications and decisions relate to the Board’s streamlined process and policy respecting short term actions for taxi modernization, and its simplified Inter-City Bus Application process.
