World Marriage Day

Our Marriage Prayer

Lord help us to remember when we first met

and the strong love that grew between us.

To work that love into practical things

so that nothing can divide us.

We ask for words both kind and loving

and hearts always ready to ask for

forgiveness as well as to forgive.

Dear Lord,

we put our marriage into Your hands.

Amen.

“Strengthening the Church at Home” Next week’s second collection will be for the Catholic Home Missions Appeal. Right now, over 40 percent of dioceses in the United States are considered home mission

territory because they are unable to fund the essential pastoral work needed in their communities. Your support of this appeal helps ease the struggle of these dioceses. Please prayerfully consider how you can support this appeal. More information can be found at www.usccb.org/home-missions.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

Sessions for children ages 3 - 12 are Tuesday mornings from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM and Tuesday and Thurs-day evenings from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. For more information, please call the Religion Center at 724-335-0785. We have found that the heart of the child is

deep and open to the loving call of our Good Shepherd. We know that when given time and the space of an environment prepared for their religious life, children are quite content to contemplate the mysteries of the Kingdom of God. Like Mary in the second chapter of the Gospel of Luke, they keep all these things and ponder them in their hearts.

Share the Word Bible Study

Share the Word, a Bible Study for adults, resumes on Monday, February 12, from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM in the St. Francis Room. Gain a greater understanding of Scripture as we read and discuss the coming Sunday readings. Come every week or when you are able. All are welcome!

Parish Membership

We welcome all to our Parish Community! However, formaliz-ing your registration in either parish is important. In order to re-ceive the sacraments of Baptism, First Communion, Confirma-tion and Matrimony; to be granted a certificate of eligibility for sponsorship at Baptism or Confirmation; or to receive a personal recommendation, it is necessary to be registered and participating at your respective parish. To register, (adults 21 and over should register separately from parents), make changes to your registration, or if you are moving, please notify your respective parish office. A simple phone call will maintain up-to-date parish records and eliminate unnecessary mailings, and will be very much appreciated by the office staff. Thank you for your cooperation!

Feel free to pick up a book or two from each of the dis-plays located in the narthex area of each parish.
