We sure hope that you’ll save the date for us on April 14th because we are especially excited to host you at our

second annual Partisover Southern Style Sale. We are busy preparing what we think is a special offering of Angus

and SimAngus seed stock so please accept this invitation to join us on the ranch, evaluate the cattle, and let us

know how we can better serve your operation.

We’ve been breeding performance black seed stock at Partisover since 1970 and we are happier with our cattle

now than ever before. Our herd was built around the best Angus cattle we could breed and Qnd and we have

always relied heavily on the complete and accurate reporting of performance data as well as the lessons that life

and my dad, Dr. Dan Daniel, have taught me about live evaluation. Our Angus herd was one of the Qrst thor-

oughly documented performance-based herds in the country and we continue to build with the best female lines

that have stood the test of time and the ever-changing industry. Sure, the cattle can always be better and our

cattle aren’t worth a thing if they do not work for you, but the incorporation of powerful Simmental herd sires like

Upgrade, 3C Macho, Mo Magic and more have created a whole new level of enjoyment and rewards for our out-

Qt. We invite your evaluation and comparison because we think that these cattle are as versatile and good as

any we’ve run in our long history.

Great Angus cows will always be the backbone of our operation but, thanks to our great friends and partners

that help us to Qnd and own elite Simmental bulls, the Partisover Herd Bull Battery has never been stronger.

Upgrade continues to amaze us with his siring ability and he remains as the most potent bull of any breed that

we’ve ever known. He is the most complete performance sire in the breed today, his young daughters are going

to be special cows, and sons from his 2011 crop topped both the Calhoun Bull Test and Bull Power Sales plus

other sons from Partisover were show ring winners for Tingle Farms, KY, and Pleasant Hills Farm, KY, this year.

Recently we acquired, with the help of friends, the most intriguing Upgrade son we could Qnd, Upper Class, as the

$50,000 top seller of the 2012 Sandeen Sale. He is exceptionally well bred and appealing and he will be on dis-

play sale day when his Qrst breeding packages will be sold. He too stems from one of the most proven Angus cow

families in the breed today and we are excited to see the new dimension that he will bring to our program.

We strive to raise practical cattle that cover as many beef business basics as possible for maximum outputs from

minimum inputs, but we love good looking ones too and we’re so proud of the juniors that show our stock. Thank

you to the many young people that support our program and experienced recent success with their Partisover

purchases. Special congratulations to Callie Akins, GA, for her 2013 GA Junior Livestock Show Grand Champion

Low-Percentage Female and to Michael Loughridge, GA, for his 2012 GA State Fair Grand Champion Percentage

Female, both with females that sold in Southern Style 2012. We have a great selection of heifer calves to choose

from this year and we’d love to help you make the most of your next project.

It takes a lot of folks to make things work right, when they do, on the ranch and I am so grateful for the help of my

great friend and stockman, Johnnie Johnson, again this year as well our student hands: Stuart Harkin, Chandler

Akins, and Jacob Holmes; plus the great every day assistance of my family and Fernando Madera. Great friends

and family have pushed our program to new heights, and without them none of this would be possible.

Randy asked me to write a letter last year for the catalog and then he asked me to write one for this year. The

best thing about me writing this letter is that the genetics and quality of this sale offering are 100 times bet-

ter than my ability to write!

I could talk about EPD’s and how good I think the cattle are, but the real selling point will be when you look

for yourself. It was difficult to convince Randy to offer some of these cows in the sale offering; but, as you will
