Details of Activity Department of Political Science organized innovative activities for the all round development of students. The study tour to visit winter session of the parliament at Delhi is a milestone activity. The tour was conducted during 20to 27 November 2016, under guidance and planning of Dr.M.H.Gavane ,Vice -principal and head of the Department of Political Science. 30 student participated in this Study Tour, among them 19 were girls and 11 boys ,along with 04 faculties named Prof. SudarshanPatil, Prof.Dr.Archana Tak, Prof. Dnyaneshwar Bansode and Prof. Waghmare Vikas.

During the tour students observed the functioning of Loksabha they visited to the famous library of the Parliament along with the parliament important places in Delhi like Akshardhan temple, India Gate, Laxminarayana Temple, Red Fort etc. were visited and observed by the students.

Student on the way also visited to Tajmahal at Agra, Mathura, Vrindavan etc. the historical places.

At Nagpur students visited to Dikshabhoomi, Maharaja Bangh in Nagpur.

Students got practical knowledge of the concepts they learn in the classrooms. The study tour was very enjoyable and full of various learning experiences for the students.

Details of Activity Under Department of Political Science of Rajarshi Shahu Mahavidyalaya, Latur a mock parliament / through election and democraticprocesses was formed by students of Political Science under guidance of Dr.M.H.Gavhane Vice-Principal and head of Dept. in this academic year. It was also an innovative and fully students centric activity of the department.

The purpose behind this activity was to aware students with the parliamentary processes like election and formation of the Loksabha, establishing Political parties, party politics, competitions in election s appointment of the prime minister and council of ministers, oath ceremony etc. The oath taking ceremony of all the office bearers of the Lokasabha and ministers was conducted on 18 January, 2017. So, this was a new and creative initiative organized by the department for the students in this Academic Year.
