NS/TECH Solids, liquids, gasses Now that you are familiar with solids, liquids and gasses I would like you to write some notes in your workbooks. Please write notes where you explain what a solid is. Read the following recipe below and try to do this recipe at home.(with the permission of your parents) Ingredients 50g butter 1cup of self raising flour ½ cup sugar 200g dark chocolate, chopped 3 tbsp cocoa 160g unsalted butter, melted 1 cup cornflakes 2 tsp vanilla extract

Method 1).Preheat oven to 180 C. Line a 26 *16cm slice tin with baking paper. Sift flour and cocoa into a large mixing bowl, add cornflakes, sugar and 100g of the chocolate, and stir to combine. 2). Make well in centre of dry ingredients, add butter and vanilla and stir to combine. Put cornflakes mixture in tin and press down with the back spoon. 3). Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and crisp. Remove from oven and stand on a wire rack. Melt remaining chocolate and spread on top of slice to edges of tin. Stand for 1 hour or until chocolate is set. Cut into squares. 6).Eat and enjoy.
