During this time routine patrols were made of the point. It was raining heavily during this time and nobody was in the park.

I parked in a few different locations along Driftwood Dr where I’ve recently received speeding complaints. No speeding vehicles were encountered during this time.

I talked with a resident regarding a speeding complaint. The resident the complaint was in regard to was not home at this time. I will follow-up at a later time with the resident.

I talked with a resident regarding a prior suspicious vehicle complaint. The issue was resolved at the time.

I parked in a couple of different locations along Driftwood Dr to enforce speeding issues a couple of residents have complained about. I did not encounter any speeding vehicles along Driftwood Dr.

I checked one residence for a resident away on vacation. The residence was secure.

Monday, 05/23/16 1600-1800 (2)

I came across a Honda Accord parked in the road near the park. The vehicle was not registered to the area and nobody was around. I was able to locate the owner at a nearby residence and had her move the vehicle off the roadway.

I talked with a resident regarding a traffic complaint pertaining to speeding. The matter was resolved.

I also talked with a resident regarding grass being dumped in the channel on 179th Ave E. There have been no further incidents regarding grass being dumped in the lake.

I received a call just after leaving regarding an unknown subject sitting at the edge of a resident’s yard. The subject turned out to work for a pest control company and was trying to set up appointments. He moved along.

Wednesday, May 25th 1400-1700 (3)

I spoke to a subject that was walking around the Point. He had a badge around his neck as well. He worked for Alta Pest Control and was trying to set up appointments.

I parked on Driftwood Dr near 183rd Ave E to focus on complaints received regarding traffic issues. None were noted while at this location.

Routine patrols of the Point were conducted during this time.

Thursday, May 26th 1745-2045 (3)

I checked on a silver Dodge Neon (WA/AOT1837) parked on 25th St Ct E near a wooded area. While I was checking on it the owner came back. Turned out to be the same pest control subject I contacted on Wednesday.

I talked with a resident regarding a prior vehicle theft issue. The vehicle was recovered in Kent. Per the resident the suspect was not caught.

I checked one home for a resident away on vacation. The home was secure.

Below is a photograph of a vehicle possibly used in a burglary to a residence on South Tapps, just east of Sumner Tapps. The photograph looks odd due to it being pieced together to edit various trees. The vehicle appears to be an early 2000’s model Toyota 4Runner. I do not have a plate. There was at least one white male associated with the vehicle. The video is

from the neighbor of the victim. Please be watchful for a vehicle matching the description and try to get a plate if possible. We are not looking to arrest anyone at this point and are only attempting to locate/ID any occupants. I’ve also attached a photograph of a package thief going around Bonney Lake. The plate on the vehicle is AUM3027 and is registered to an address in Tacoma. The vehicle is being driven around Bonney Lake and we have had several reports of it but have yet to locate it.
