Ronald Reagan Library The Reagan Library, the repository of presidential records for President Reagan’s administration, features a library, museum, the Air Force One Pavillion, and various exhibitions. The current exhibition at the library is “SPY: The Secret World of Espionage”. We will be visiting the library, Sunday, January 5 at 9:30 a.m. General admission is $21, seniors are $18, youth ages 11-17 are $14, and children ages 3-10 are free. This admission fee includes transportation aboard the Shuttle, and entrance to all of the exhibits at the Museum, including the main museum, the Air Force One Pavilion and all of the exhibits.

Temecula Wine Tasting Temecula Valley Wine Country, widely recognized as the ‘jewel’ of Riverside County, features an array of specialty stores, unique boutiques, art galleries, and cafes. On Saturday, January 18 accompany us as we spend the day in Old Town Temecula followed by wine tasting in Temecula Valley Wine Country. Temecula Valley Wine Country offers hundreds of award-winning wines presented by 35 member wineries. No matter which variety of wine you’re looking for, you can probably find it in Temecula! Known for its diversity, the wineries in the Temecula Valley grow and produce over 50 different varietals of wine; from Cabernet Sauvignon to Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot to Mourvedre, Viognier to Chardonnay. Our departure time is 9 a.m. and a $5 transportation fee due upon sign up.

Whale WatchingJoin us for whale watching on Saturday, January 25. Our tour is ideally positioned to take advantage of the

grey migration which brings hundreds of grey whales along the Laguna Beach

coastline and within minutes of Newport Harbor. In addition to viewing the grey whales, you can also expect to see dolphins, sea lions, and marine birds. The cost is $25 per person and departure time is 11:30 a.m. Payment and reservations may be made at the Clubhouse.

Desert Hills Premium Outlets & Casino MorongoOn Saturday, January 4 we will be heading to Palm Springs for a day of shopping and

gambling! Visitors will be dropped off at both Casino Morongo as well as the Desert Hills Premium Outlets. Whether you prefer to take your chances on the slots, or spend the day shopping at the the discounted stores, there will be something to do for everyone! There are also various restaurants such as Natural 9 Noodle Company and Sunset Bar & Grill at both the casino and the outlets, so there will be plenty of places to go for a nice lunch in between shopping and trying your luck at Morongo. We will be departing from Park Newport at 9 a.m. and a $5 transportation fee per person is due upon sign up.

California Science CenterOn Saturday, January 11 don’t miss out as we travel to Los Angeles to visit the California Science Center, the West Coast’s largest hands-on museum! Some of their current exhibitions include: Mission 26: The Big Endeavor, Red Bull Stratos, and Creative World. The exhibit “Red Bull Stratos” lets visitors discover

the science behind Felix Baumgartner’s historic leap, when he jumped from the stratosphere and became the first human to break the sound barrier during freefall, reaching an estimated speed of 843.6 mph! With so much to see and do, you won’t want to miss this trip! Our departure time is 9:30 a.m. and there is a $5 transportation fee due at sign up.

Venice Beach & Santa MonicaThe Venice Beach Boardwalk is just under two miles of walking along the shore and is the home of numerous unique shops, restaurants, and art galleries. After walking around Venice, spend the rest of the day in Santa Monica where you can walk along the pier, or shop and dine at Third Street Promenade. We depart at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, January 19, and there is a $5 transportation fee due upon sign up.

Happy HourOn Wednesday, January15 at 4:45 p.m we will be visiting Wildfish Seafood Grille for our monthly happy hour. During happy hour, Wildfish offers d i s c o u n t e d a p p e t i z e r s

JulianJulian is an historic gold mining town located one hour east of San Diego. Although it is famous for its delicious apples and homemade pies, the city offers much more! Visitors will have the opportunity to go hiking,

wine tasting, browse through boutiques that offer handmade goods, have lunch at one of

the numerous restaurants, or go visit the apple orchards! Our departure time is 8 a.m. on Sunday, January 26. There is a $5 transportation fee per person due upon sign up.

Old Town Del Mar & La Jolla Historic and charming Del Mar Village offers a variety of unique shops, renowned restaurants and a farmers’ market which is a great place to pick up the freshest and finest produce, flowers, and seafood the region has to offer. On Saturday, February 1 we will head to Old Town Del Mar & La Jolla located in San Deigo. After Del Mar,

we will visit “The Jewel of San Diego,” also known as La Jolla. In addition to fine restaurants, beautiful beaches, hotels, and art galleries, La Jolla is home to renowned institutions , such as the Scripps Institution of Oceanography and the Stephen Birch Aquarium & Museum.
