Parish Activities, News, and Notes An Invitation for Non-Practicing Catholics:

Were you raised Catholic but do not or seldom come to Church anymore? Are you a Catholic who now feels sep-arated from your church? Would you like to know more about the Catholic Church as it is today? Would you like to feel at home in the Catholic Church Again?

No matter how long you have been away, or what the reason, we invite you to consider renewing your rela-tionship with the Catholic Church. This six week series, held on Monday evenings at 6:30 p.m., begins April 9, at St. Stephen Religious Ed Office. Spon-sored by St. Stephen and St. Joseph parishes. Call Sally Mews at 715-254-0935 for more information.

Grief Support Ministry To Be Formed: Fr . Jerzy has identified a need for parish members to assist those who are grieving. The combined St. Stephen and St. Joseph Parishes requires male and female volun-teers alike to get this ministry up and running. What can be accomplished depends on you and your ideas. Initially, support will be provided by contacting fami-lies, hosting monthly support gatherings at St. Stephen Rectory, and generally just maintaining periodic contact as their parish family. Some of this can be done from the comfort of your home. If interested or have questions, please contact Deacon Art Schaller 715-592-3692, Tammy Kenowski 715-341-2583 or Terry Miller 715-340-2471.

The next Wine, Women & Worship social get together will be held on April 10 at 6:00 p.m. at the home of Tracy Spoerl, 3708 Heffron Street. Please RSVP to Tracy at 715-344-0091 by April 7.

Sr. Margaret Ann Murawski Anniversary Mass: St. Stephen Parish cordially invites parishioners to the

celebration Mass commemorating Sr. Margaret Ann Murawski’s 60th Anniversary of her Profession of Vows as a School Sister of Notre Dame. A special Liturgy will be celebrated on Sunday, April 22, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen Parish to honor her religious

commitment. We are blessed to have Sr. Margaret Ann share her life with us through her vocation!

Happy Easter Everyone from Fr. Jerzy and the staff of St. Stephen Parish!

Parish Activities, News, and Notes Prayer Corner: Prayer requests will be published

in the bulletin. If you would like parishion-ers to keep you or a loved one in prayer, please call Renée at 715-344-3319 x201, or email to [email protected].

Weekly Reflection There are many images that can help us understand who we are and what we should be about in this world. One such image is yeast. A packet of yeast is made up of many tiny grains that quickly melt in warm water. It can then blend with the dough and make it rise. Reflect on how you might be like yeast in the world. The little daily things you do may seem unimportant but they are your grains of yeast. Small acts of kindness, patience, the willingness to help others and forgive can spread throughout our world and raise up those around us.

Psalm 118:17 “I shall not die, but I shall live,

and recount the deeds of the Lord.” A Note From Gabe: The Government of South Sudan has just shut down one of the most popular radio stations in South Sudan - Radio Muria. It was funded by the United Nations and there are rumors the government did not like the truth the radio was report-ing about the situation of war, rape, corruption, famine and nepotism in this country. The government is becoming more and more belligerent toward the inter-national community that has imposed stricter enforce-ment of arms trading, illegal banking, corruption and even human rights violations. Please pray for these very suffering people. With grateful appreciation for all your support… Gabe Thank You Olympia Family Restaurant for adver-tising in our parish bulletin. Please remember to patronize Olympia Family Restaurant and all our sponsors as your needs arise. Without them, the bulletin could not exist.
