“For God so loved the world that he gave
his only Son…” - JOHN 3:16
Of all the wonderful gifts that God has given to us, the gift of His own Son is truly the greatest. How can we ever thank God for a gift like that? God does not ask us to sacrifice our own precious firstborn, but He does ask that we be generous in making some sacrifices for Him.

All substitute teachers must have PA certification and must present all necessary clearances prior to substituting.
March 2015: Creating the Future
There are many other honorable relation-ships which include degrees of commit-
ment and affection, but marriage has a unique mission: to integrate the fertility of male and female with the fidelity of God’s covenant. Catholic parenting relies on the same ra-tionale as sacramental marriage: love in the shape of service, sacrifice, trust, and openness to God’s will. Jesus said to his disciples “Let the children come unto me,” and it is the responsibility of all Catholic adults to shepherd children into a relationship with God and the people of God. The whole parish should be involved in supporting mar-riages, families and children. Vatican II called the family a “domestic church,” and the little church of the family takes its orientation from the faith and mission of the larger Church. It is a mother’s and a father’s responsibility to be with children at home and in church, and to pray together regularly. Children will learn the faith only when they are taught. “Love is our mission” because even in the middle of our humble daily routines, Catholics live with a bold and glorious purpose. - Christopher C. Roberts, catechism editor

HOLY FAMILY REGIONAL SCHOOL
The Passion of Our Lord as never seen before Tuesday, March 31 – 7:30-9:00pm at Saint Martin of
Tours, New Hope Please join us for a presentation of the Passion done through pantomime, paraliturgical readings, music and special effects. High School students from New York will be giving the presentation. They have performed extensively on the East Coast and have a profound commitment to their faith and their parts in the performance. Families are invited to attend this powerful and unique prayer service. Young children, however, may be frightened due to the nature of the presentation. There is no charge but there will be oppor-tunity to give a free will offering. If you are interested in attending, please contact Mrs. Raffin at [email protected].
Cross Train Your Faith
On April 8, Cross Train Your Faith will resume with “Road to Emmaus.” This is a one session program of the Gospel story in Luke 24:13-35. Now you can learn what the disciples learned on the “Road to Emmaus.”
Then, on April 15, we will begin the eight-week Jeff Cavins program “Walking Toward Eternity – Daring to Walk the Walk.” This is an inspiring series designed to help you live your faith more fully by developing and nurturing seven key virtues. Jeff Cavins introduces these characteristics that are essential to the Christian life and outlines practical steps for living them out in daily life.
A journal is available, for a cost of $20, but not required for this program. If you are interested in participating in this program and would like to order a journal, please contact Andy Pastorek at [email protected] or 267-446-9037 before April 8, so the workbooks can be ordered and received prior to start of the program.
All Cross Train Your Faith programs take place on Wednes-days at 9:30 AM and 7:00 PM in the Parish Center and are free. Come join your neighbors and friends for these Catholic learning experiences.
“Cross Train Your Faith” is part of the Adult Faith Formation Program here at Queen. If you have suggestions for future programs, please contact John Murray in the Parish Center at 215-945-0215
