It is important that all parents schedule a meeting as students will be setting their learning goals for this term or semester. These goals will be reported on in each students’ report. Parents and students are welcome to also attend these meeting via telephone conference if it is easier. Once your appointment is set in the Schools Interview website (details on how to access this will be coming home soon), please email your teacher and indicate you wish to attend via teleconference. All teacher email addresses are listed below.

ITALIAN - MRS VIOLI Welcome to another year of Italian! Classes have settled well into their routines of coming over to Italian. Only Stage 2 and 3 classes have Italian at this stage. Stage 1 classes will start Italian in Term 2. Stage 2 classes are working on a wellbeing unit based on the big book “Per Star Bene’ (To Stay Healthy). The book deals with different activities to keep us active and healthy. As we continue through the unit, we will also include healthy food options as outlined in the Australian Guide to Healthy Eating.

Information Cards and Medical Plans New information cards have been sent home. This year the cards are a pale mauve colour. Pleas complete these cards and return them to school as soon as possible so the office can make sure your details are up to date. Please contact the school office an any time if any of your details change (especially your address and phone numbers). Please also provide the school office with any updated medical plans or court orders that apply to your children.

3/4E - MRS EVANS

3/4E has had a terrific start getting to know new class mates and teacher. We have been focusing on new routines, expectations and having a great work ethic. Our class goals are to always be kind, to respect our self and others and to never give up. We have began our stage 2 novel study-”How to train your dragon” with the novel and the movie. There are some terrific interpretations of dragons in the children’s drawings and writings that 3/4E have been working on. During maths time 3/4E are learning all about whole numbers. We created a robot focusing on place value . This term 3/4E is going to Italian Our library day is on Fridays. Please remember your library bags to look after our fantastic library books. Primary sport will be on Fridays at 10.30. Currently we are playing whole class games and skill based activities. As of Week 5 primary sport rotations will commence. Looking forward to seeing a fantastic effort by everyone at the swimming carnival this Friday.
