School Routines
School RoutinesWhy are routines important? ● a way to get things done; a sense of security
● makes it less stressful for children (knows what
comes next)
Home Routines
Home RoutinesChildren are able to predict what will happen next
and this helps them feel secure and prepared.
It also facilitates in children’s understanding of the
learning environment expectations.
Home Routines1. Plan the routine along with your child
2. Place the schedule in a central place so that
your child can easily refer to it
3. Give your child constant positive reinforcement
to follow the routine.
This helps your child become more independent
and confident.
