Paraphrasing

Student involvement is the way like we interact with our academic and social environment. From the very first day of our schooling, we used to go to participate in various extracurricular activities with our academic programs.

There are three types of students ,one are like they just want to study ,they are very less involved in other activities ,second type are those who are less focused on studies and are involved in extracurricular activities rather than studies but both of them just shows the less involvement of those type of students. There is another type who are enthusiatic and are involved in both kind of directions. Students involved more in studies are shown socially incapable to interact with peoples and are considered as out of the world and those who are socially active face difficulties in their grades if they are careless.

The wise men have developed a theory also called as “Student Involvement Theory” which tells that as a student, one has both time and energy to get involved in any activities but the nature constraints the limitation of time for everything. There is much need for a student to involved in social conditions also like she/he should have a good relation with teachers and other classmates. As this will help him not only in terms of emotional but everywhere like sometimes some friend will recommend something like service or a job, sometimes we don’t have time for all the work to be done by ourselves in those situations we need someone to help.

For this we need a social interaction but this should not contradict with studies. Group Study is a very good example of having a good balance in study as well as in social interactions.

The involvement of a student in both these aspects helps him at that time and also in future. For this growth of the student a classroom is a very good place where he learns about peoples and behaviour and learns to interact with any one and this also a good exercise to have a good learning experience where views are shared between students and faculty.

So, A student should have a bidirectional involvement for learning and growth with his/her peers in the environment of classroom along with faculty.
