    Painting Robots:

Robot painting produces top quality results. Once properly programmed, anindustrial painting robot can apply material without leaving behind drips, inconsistencies, overspray, etc. Paint and/or coating is applied precisely and

    consistently.

Industrial painting robots can provide exceptional part accessibility. Not onlyare robotic arms slim and far-reaching, but robots can be installed in a numberof different locations (wall, shelf, rail) allowing for even greater flexibility.

Industrial painting robots protect workers. The painting application is ahazardous and taxing job. Workers can be exposed to unsafe VOCs,isocyanides and carcinogens. The painstaking work of painting object afterobject can lead to repetitive movement injuries.

Robots, on the other hand, are better equipped to handle the dangers of thisparticular work environment. Built with explosion-proof arms, these robotsremain safe in the midst of combustible gas.

    COATING ROBOTS

The use of painting robots has been considerably generalized worldwide in thelast decade.

Its main application is in mass production lines, which their final goals are

    quality and productivity.

Typically, the environment where painting tasks are performed is controlled bythe need to implement ATEX atmospheres, such as Robot paint application andcuring of Wind Turbine Towers

In addition to the limited space in the facility, operator work with highworkloads in monotonous and repetitive tasks.

These circumstances have made the industrial painting process, a processwidely robotized.

Thanks to painting robots, environmental problems are reduced, working in asafe atmosphere, standardizing and increasing the quality of the finished

surface, reducing paint consumption and thus achieving an increase inproductivity coupled with cost reduction.

    HORIZONTAL PAINT ROBOTS

The surface on which to apply the paint normally is horizontal, the surface isfixed or mobile, and the PAINTING ROBOT is formed by a cartesian X, Y in ahorizontal plane, form by an X linear actuator and a double linear actuator Y.

    VERTICAL PAINT ROBOTS

When the surface where to apply the paint is vertical, the surface can be fixedor mobile, the painting robot is formed by a cartesian Y, Z in a vertical plane, form by a linear actuator and a double Z linear actuator Y.

MIXED PAINT ROBOTS OR PAINTING GANTRY ROBOTS

It is important to highlight that not in all cases the process can be simplifiedto vertical or horizontal surfaces. On many occasions the industry demandssolutions that can deal with non-symmetrical geometries and having no planarmorphologies.

FANUC Americahas a full range of painting and dispensing robots for a complete

paint automation solution. Advantages of Industrial Painting Robots include:

Improved Safety from Hazardous Painting Work EnvironmentsReduced Waste Material from More Consistant Paint ApplicationGreater Speed and ProductivityIncreased System Uptime

    TX250 paint robot

The TX250 paint series makes the difference, thanks to better process controlvia PaintiXen Advanced Control Software, which allows the control of any paintparameter, an increase in paint and solvent savings (+30% transfer rate), a highquality trajectory and high flexibility, allowing the management of parts ofcomplex/multiple sizes, and increased throughput
