Korea... The Democratic People's Republic of North Korea is
locating in Eatern Asia, on the northern part of the Korean
Peninsula. The country is commonly called North Korea. The map
(left) shows North Korea and its surroundings. The figure on the
right bottom corner is the North Korean flag. Slide 3 Page 3 For
decades, North Korea has been one of the world's most secretive
societies. It is currently the last Stalinist Stateon Earth. What I
mean by Stalinist State is that North Korea is a traditional
country and is ruled by the theory of communism. North Korea is a
country filled with historical colors and fun histories. After
experiencing years of baptism, North Korea has finally revealed its
mysterious mask for the whole world to see its realidentity. This

Page 4 The forming of North and South Korea Before the
Sino-Japanese War between Korea and Japan begin, the Korean
Peninsula was governed by the Korean empire from the late 19th
century to the early 20th century. In 1910, the imperial country,
Japan annexed the Korean Peninsula as part of its empire after
their victory in the Sino-Japanese War. Though, the Japanese did
not gain the control over Korea for long. As soon as WWII ended in
1984, Japan surrendered to Korea. After the surrender of Japan, the
country started to emerge in 1984. The Korean Peninsula was split
into two sections and formed two independent countries which are
then named North Korea and South Korea according to its geographic
textures. Between the two once-together countries, there is a
boundary called the Korean Demilitarized Zone. A glance at the
electric wires and fences surrounding the zone. Acting as a
protection to defeat away anyone who wants to go over the boundary
between North and South Korea. Slide 5 Page 5 Political Tensions
rising between N. K., S. K., U.S., & China Current leader of
North Korea, Kim Jong-un, who is the youngest son of the previous
leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-il took over the role as President
in April, 2012 after his fathers sudden death due to a heart
attack. Ever since Kim Jong-un became president of North Korea,
political tensions had only ratchet up between North Korea, South
Korea, United States, and China. The tension is still rising and
does not seem to decrease. Slide 6 Page 6 Causes of the rising
political tensions Ever since Kim Jong-un, who is the youngest son
of Kim Jong-il, the previous North Korea leader, took over the
throne as the president of North Korea. Political tensions had only
ratchet up between North Korea and its other allied countries. And
they are South Korea. United Sates, and China. The people of North
Korae did not have much faith ad trust in this young leader. And
this new leaders' actions had proved their guesses and panics to be
right. The main cause of the rising tension is his threaten of
proceeding nuclear missile tests in these nations. The once
friendly relations between these nations are now gone. They are
putting on a show of "coldwar". The tension is still rising and
does not seem to decrease. Slide 7 Page 7 He'll just be another
copy of his father, Kim Jong-il. Relations between North Korea and
its other once friendly nations have changed so virtually and
suddenly only 1 year after the previous leader of North Korea, Kim
Jong-ils sudden death. After Kim Jong-un take over the throne, most
of the people in North Korea does not have faith and trust in such
a young leader. Even I can't see the future in this less advanced
country. A few months after he took the jobpassed on by his father,
his actions had proved to the people that they were right about
their worries and panics. The new president of North Korea cannot
take the role as a leader seriously. Does he think that threatens
are as easy to say as jokes? What is with all of his on and off
nuclear missile tests threatening? I guess this new appointed
president will be just another copy of his father, Kim Jong-il.

Body Paragraph # 1 The Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea is a

for short. Before the war between Korea and Japan, the Korean
Peninsula was governed by the Korean empire from the late 19th

Body Paragraph # 2 North Korea has swung between confrontation and
conciliation with its close by neighbor, South Korea. Current
leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-un, the youngest son of the
previous leader of N.K., Kim Jong-il took over the role as
President in April, 2012 after his fathers sudden death due to a
heart attack. The Korean media lauded Kim Jong-un sarcastically,
the newly appointed leader of North Korea, as a great person born
of heaven and Great Successor. Signaling a continuation of the
personality cult of the Kim family into a third generation. Ever
since Kim Jonh-un became president of North Korea, political
tensions had only ratcheted between North Korea and South Korea.
The tension is still rising and does not seem to decrease. Not so
long after the President Election in South Korea, Kim Jong-un
threatened that he will be putting a nuclear bomb test into action
and it will be taking place in South Korea. His threaten was
intended to frighten the new elected female president of South
Korea. But the new leader of South Korea showed no frights at all.
Instead, she claimed for Kim Jong-un to go ahead with the nuclear
bomb test if he has the strength. Kim Jong-un got an unexpected
respond from the new leader of South Korea and decided to put a
stop to the nuclear test temporarily. Sharing a piece of land with
South Korea which they have strong hostilities about isnt an easy
thing to do for North Korea. That is what the Korean Demilitarized
Zone is all about. Both countries sent soldiers to the zone on
their side, and protect their own country from any sudden attacks.

programs reported recently, North Korea's nuclear ambitions have
exacerbated its rigidly maintained isolation from the rest of the
world. After Kim Jong-un took position of the leader of North
Korea, the young and arrogant leader had claimed to proceed China
with a ballistic missile test. Once the surprising news flew to
China, the government of China immediately sent the Chinese Vice
Minister of foreign affairs to North Korea to start a peace talk.
Although the Vice Minister of foreign affairs warned Kim Jong-un
sternly not to proceed a ballistic missile test, or else China will
suspend all the business and trading affairs in relation with North
Korea. But the arrogant leader of North Korea went ahead anyway.
This action of him resulted a scar China and North Koreas once
friendly relation. Just recently, the leader of North Korea once
again threatened to nuke the Americas mainland, Washington D.C. The
United States is now in preparation for the nuclear missile test.
Just in case if the threaten came true. The world already had
enough of North Koreas on and off nuclear threatens, and is
discussing this issue to come up with an idea to put this talk to a
