Paddle Board Race Fees: § Registration:

• Pre-Race Fee-$15 per paddle board (includes Board rental). $5 per paddle board if you have your own. Must be received by June 21, 2018.

• Registration is accepted the day of the race. $20 per paddle board (includes Board rental) or $10 if you have your own board.

§ Races begin at 1:00pm § All paddlers need to be checked-in to participate.

Funds will be donated to Boy Scout Troop 27.

RACE RULES & PROCEDURES

• EVERY RACE PARTICIPANT MUST WEAR A PROPERLY FITTED PERSONAL FLOATATION DEVICE (PFD) WHILE IN OR ON THE WATER.

• All participants must provide their own PFDs. • All participants MUST sign a Participant Waiver/Hold Harmless Agreement on/or before race day.

Paddlers will not be allowed to race without a signed agreement from each race participant. • Alcoholic beverages are NOT permitted at any time. Noticeably intoxicated individuals or

groups will be disqualified and will not be allowed to participate • Please check in at the registration table on race day no later than 12:45pm. • Unload your paddle board in the display area. After unloading, please move

your vehicle to the parking lot. • If Endless River Paddling, LLC. or Oahe Days seems the weather unsafe to

hold the race, the event could be cancelled. The race is weather permitting. In the event that the race cannot take place, all money will be refunded to entrants.

Failure to abide by any race rule or the direction of a race official shall be cause

for disqualification. The referee’s decision is final.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

• Registration Forms (attached) and payment is encouraged to be received prior to race day but will also accept race day registration (see Paddle Board Race Fees).

• Everyone participating in the race will need a Personal Flotation Device and a Participant Waiver/Hold Harmless Agreement (attached) signed before being allowed to race. Anyone without a Participant Waiver/Hold Harmless Agreement will not be allowed on a board for any reason. No exceptions.

2018 Endless River Paddling and Oahe Days Paddle Board Race PARTICIPANT WAIVER/HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT

I,theundersigned,wishtoparticipateinthe2018EndlessRiverPaddling,LLCandOaheDaysPaddleBoardraceonJune23,2018.Iunderstandthattheactivitiesinvolvedwiththeracecontainanelementofhazardorrisk.Irecognizetheinherentdangerinvolvedandtakefullresponsibilityformyactionsandphysicalcondition.

Inconsiderationofmyparticipatingintherace,Ihereby,formyself,myheirs,executorsandadministrators,waiveandreleaseanyandallrightsandclaimsfordamagesImayhaveagainstEndlessRiverPaddling,LLC.anditsmembers,agents,representativesandsuccessorsandanyothergrouporindividualassociatedwiththiseventforanypersonalinjuriesorpropertydamageorlosssufferedwhileengagedintheraceactivities.

IagreetoindemnifyandholdtheEndlessRiverPaddling,LLC.andOaheDaysandanyothergrouporindividualsassociatedwiththeeventandanyoftheirservants,agents,officialsormembersfreeandharmlessfromanyliability,loss,costorexpenseincludingattorneyfees,whichmayresultfrommyparticipationintheraceactivities.

IagreethatIamfullyresponsibleforpaymentofallcostsresultingfromtherenderingofmedicalaidandambulanceservicestomeasaparticipantinanyraceactivitiesandIauthorizethatallnecessaryfirstaidstepsmaybetakenasprescribedbyqualifiedpersonnel.IgrantfullpermissiontoEndlessRiverPaddling,LLCandOaheDaystouseanyphotographs,videotapes,recordingoranyotherrecordofmyparticipationintheraceprogramforanypurpose.

Bysigningbelow,IagreethatIunderstandandconsenttothefollowingstatement:“IherebygranttheEndlessRiverPaddling,LLC.permissiontousemylikenessinaphotograph/videoinanyandallofitspublications,includingwebsiteentries,withoutpaymentoranyotherconsideration.IunderstandandagreethatthesematerialswillbecomethepropertyofEndlessRiverPaddling,LLC.andwillnotbereturned.”
