The PA Workforce Development Board is hosting

Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)

State Plan Listening Sessions to get your feedback

and recommendations on the state’s 2020 – 2024

workforce development strategies.

Pennsylvania established five broad goals for a

comprehensive workforce development system to

increase the number of Jobs That Pay, expand the

number of Schools That Teach the skills necessary

to succeed in college and careers, and serve as a

model of Government That Works.

These Listening Sessions will present an

opportunity to discuss PA’s WIOA broad goals,

identify areas of concern, discuss ideas for

innovation and improvements, and help in further

enhancing PA’s framework for a successful

workforce development system.
