I’d like to give a big shout out to the families that came to our Family Fun Night, it was awesome! The PTA wants to extend a big thank you to the PE & Art Departments for the fun activities and to Mrs. Rebecca in the cafeteria for her help - we couldn’t have done it without her! In this past month, we had a terrific Book Fair, thanks to our volunteers and especially our Media Specialist, Jean Roepke. All of their hard work made the Book Fair a huge success! Our annual Fall Festival on Friday Nov 7 th , is just around the corner and we are excited for this wonderful time of year! We have lots of new games as well as new food choices this year. Please be sure to mark it on your calendar. We are always in need of volunteers for this big event so if you can donate any time at all please email Kathy Maloney at [email protected]. Hello Ozona Families! A lot has been happening around Ozona this

past month!

I’d like to give a big shout out to the families that came to our Family Fun Night, it was awesome! The PTA wants to extend a big thank you to the PE & Art Departments for the fun activities and to Mrs. Rebecca in

the cafeteria for her help - we couldn’t have done it without her! In this past month, we had a terrific Book Fair, thanks to our volunteers and especially our Media Specialist, Jean Roepke. All of their hard work made the Book Fair a huge success!

event so if you can donate any time at all please email Kathy Maloney at [email protected]. The Festival is a great time to see our kids

It’s almost Halloween! Here are some tips to keep our kids

healthy and safe while trick or treating:

Make sure kids can see and be seen – Check masks and makeup to make sure they don’t block sight. Also, have your child carry a glow stick or flashlight so they can be seen at all times. Have kids wear comfortable shoes and make sure they can’t trip on their costumes. Your kid can dress up as a doctor but no one wants to go to the ER on Halloween! Make sure kids travel in groups. More fun for them and safety in numbers! Also have someone in the group carry a cell phone at all times. Once home with treats, inspect your kid’s goodies. Be sure to toss away anything open or looks like it may have been tampered with. Throw extra candies in the freezer to be chopped up for holiday cookies!
