Congratulations on your purchase of the WP AER 48 Cone Valve Fork. This fork shares the technology and the design with the WP Factory Racing Offroad Fork which has won numerous international titles around the world.If you have any questions about your fork, please contact your WP supplier.

WP wishes you much success and riding pleasure while using your WP Motorsports product.

In order to ensure the best performance with your WP Motorsports product, it is important to follow the points outlined in this manual.

WP Special tools are needed in addition to normal hand tools in order to work on your WP Motorsports product. These tools, marked with a “T” number (available from your WP supplier) protect the original WP parts from being damaged.

• Always use aluminum protector-plates, when clamping our products or parts in the vice.• Always replace damaged or worn out parts.• Clean all parts before assembling.• Always use clean and professional hand tools along with original WP Motorsports special tools.• Always check your fork before riding.• Check fork for irregularities before each session.• Consult your local WP supplier for service or in case of any doubt.

// Installation procedure:• Remove the serial front fork according to the manual of your bike.• Install the WP Competition Fork in reversed sequence.

Tightening torque upper triple clamp (1): 15NMTightening torque lower triple clamp (2): 11NM

Adjusting the compression damping:

The compression damping can be adjusted at the brass adjuster at the bottom of the fork.All adjustments are taken from fully closed position.Use a small screwdriver to adjust compression damping.Turning it clockwise will add damping, turning it counter clockwise will decrease damping.

Adjusting the rebound damping:

The rebound damping can be adjusted at the brass center screw at the top of the fork.All adjustments are taken from fully closed position.Use a small screwdriver to adjust rebound damping.Turning it clockwise will add damping, turning it counter clockwise will decrease damping.

// Clicker-adjustment:

Adjusting the preload:

The Preload adjustment is always taken from fully open position.Therefore turn the 17mm hex. adjuster counter clockwise as far as possible and close the adjuster again to the desired adjustment.

1 turn = 6 clicks = 1mm Preload

Turning it clockwise will add preload, turning it counter clockwise will decrease preload.
