CCI - Purpose

• Self-assessment of collaborative efforts between alcohol and other drug (AOD) and child welfare service (CWS) agencies and dependency courts

• To assist in moving jurisdictions to a new level of collaboration

• To assist in prioritization of collaborative efforts and changes in practice and policy

• To self-assess consensus and disagreement on values that underlie collaboration

• Doing another CCI 12-18 months later identifies areas of progress and improved information flows

• Some measures may go down as respondents recognize they really don’t do what is being spotlighted, once they understand the question better
